Today we’d like to introduce you to Carolina Garcia.
Hi Carolina, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started our Because Mom North Atlanta Facebook group 4 years ago this month. After having several miscarriages at 6 months along I was not in a good place. I didn’t have a big support system and really needed that support during this time. I started this group to make sure no other mama would feel alone during her time of need. The group grew to over 1,000 members overnight and we landed on the front page of a few local newspapers and on fox 5.
Right now we are around 8k members on Fb and 12.5k followers on Instagram. Motherhood encouragement is really needed so we have grown fast and I am so blessed to run this community.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would say so. There has been so much support in the community and when we have a mom in need, our group really comes together and provides!

Like I said previously, we started as a mom group but quickly branched out to have our own networking group as well called Because Mom Network. Small women owned businesses are able to promote their services but promoting in the group with a sponsorship. It is for any woman who needs support in growing their business! We have around 500 members in less than 3 months and growing! It is a free group on Facebook!
We also have our own book club group and many other subgroups you can join! We are striving to be a one stop shop for all moms and support. ❤️
