Today we’d like to introduce you to Ceirra Johnson.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
First and foremost, I am a woman of God. I am also a mom and a multi-million dollar producing Award-Winning Real Estate Broker/Owner and Media enthusiast. This sounds good to some now. However, this was not the case a few years back.
As we know, Florida is known as the Sunshine State and those bursting rays of sunshine produced me. A Jacksonville, Florida native, I moved to Georgia in 1993 and Georgia hasn’t been the same since. Growing up in a household of 10, I could have been easily overlooked, but not me. I managed to always stay in the forefront, whether it was playing outside with the family or cooking with Grandma. I always made myself known in a crowd.
I started my career in real estate 15 years ago by Cleaning Apartment’s homes Part time. At the time, I was already employed as a manager at a popular eatery, Steak-N-Shake. I worked all three jobs at the age of 18 because I was determined to succeed. In doing this, I quickly found that my desire was to serve and help people. After a period of time, I became the full-time leasing agent at the apartment community I had been hired to clean. Then after much hard work, I was soon promoted to the Property Manager from there my career took off and my interest in real estate grew and grew and I can honestly say that I’m in love with it!! I received my Real Estate License in 2014 and worked for various well-known brokerages. In working for different brokerages, I realized that I was not receiving everything I desired. I would constantly achieve levels of success and always wonder what was next? As I searched for the missing piece, I realized that what I was looking for was in me the whole time. A mentor of mine (My Angela Angel) told me ‘Ceirra when you Plug into that you’re going to Kill it’ At that moment, I vowed to do just that, not only for myself but for others as well. I wanted to give what I felt I was missing to others to help them achieve their best as well. As I was sitting meditating one day, the Lord simply said ‘OPEN THE BROKERAGE” I was in utter disbelief BUT I did it and here we are, three years later!
I have so much to motivate me into becoming a success. Whether it is to support my family or to put a smile on the face of my mentor of 20 years, it is my handsome Son that really fuels my drive to succeed. I love sharing exciting milestones, touching lives and making unforgettable memories.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It HAS NOT BEEN EASY, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. God didn’t promise us it was going to be easy. I had a lot of struggles. Being a single Mom, an outcast, the black sheep of the family. Being treated unfairly and unjust you name it. Remembering that the black sheep becomes the GOAT was the wind beneath my wings to keep soaring higher. My favorite podcasts would have to be anything “Earn Your Leisure” produces and anything concerning finance and Business. Staying connected to what and whom are at the level I strive for is key for me.
