Hi Evin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I launched Wow Factor after I retired from playing professional baseball with the Chicago White Sox’s in 2016. Once I was done playing I wanted to give back my knowledge to the game and help players and families understand what it takes to play at the collegiate and professional level. So in 2017 I started Wow Factor Baseball as a training and development indoor facility helping players train to become college and pro prospects. We didn’t launch our first team until 2019, but after that first event/ team University of Miami reached out as well as University of Alabama, and University of Kentucky coaches about how good our team/ players were. So in 2020 I decided to launch Wow Factor Baseball training facility to teams. Over the last 5 years 2020-2025 Wow Factor has evolve to Wow Factor Sports Inc with over 385 Baseball teams and 52 Softball Teams .

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No any time you start a company or business from scratch there will be a lot of challenges and obstacles along the way. The major one right out the gate was launching during Covid in 2020. You just have to keep thinking positive, learning, and adapting to stay ahead of your competitors

Wow Factor Sports INC is a national club sports organization in 28 states and 2 countries headquartered in Atlanta, GA. We have over 5,600 athletes with Baseball and Softball players. Our Mission is to place as many athletes into college and professional sports as possible. Wow Factor Sports INC offer player development starting as young as 6 years old through 18 year old. Our college placement program will start around 14 years old identifying and preparing players for their right college fit. Wow Factor Sports INC has a major on the field and off the field sponsorship with New Balance where players and families get professional gear for a discounted rate being part of Wow Factor Sports INC.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Risk taking is must if your are an entrepreneur that is on a fast growth trajectory. You have to bet on yourself and invest in your company and your people to grow. I actually made less money is year one with Wow Factor Baseball teams than I did with Wow Factor training facility but I had to take that loss to building something special for years to come.
