As someone who appreciates the beauty of well-crafted glassware, I realized there was a gap in the market glassware that wasn’t just functional but also had character, warmth, and depth.
That’s how The Giselle Collection was born. I wanted to design pieces that weren’t just accessories for a great wine night but conversation starters. Glassware that felt like an extension of your personal style. Inspired by the rich hues of melanin and timeless sophistication, I created a collection that celebrates beauty in all its shades.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Every entrepreneur will tell you that the road to success is never completely smooth, and The Giselle Collection was no exception. While I had a clear vision for my brand, bringing it to life came with its challenges.
One of the biggest hurdles was manufacturing. Finding a production partner that could execute my vision with the level of quality and attention to detail I demanded took time and persistence. I wasn’t willing to settle for anything less than excellence, and that meant navigating delays, design adjustments, and countless samples before getting it just right.
Another challenge was standing out in an industry dominated by big-name brands. Convincing people to choose The Giselle Collection over mass-produced glassware meant not only creating a beautiful product but also crafting a strong brand story that resonated with my audience. I had to lean into marketing, storytelling, and community building to carve out my own space.
Despite the obstacles, every challenge made me more resilient. Seeing my glassware in the hands of customers who love and appreciate them makes all the hard work worth it. The road hasn’t been easy, but it’s been incredibly rewarding!
