Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Sade.
Hi Jasmine, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always known that I wanted to be an entrepreneur and in 2019 I quit my job and pursued my cleaning business. It took off but suddenly slowed down in 2020 when the pandemic hit and with lots of free time on my hands, I started baking cookies. Next thing I know, everyone and their mom are buying cookies from me in the middle of the pandemic. It was mind-blowing but with rare cookie flavors like banana pudding and strawberry cheesecake, it was expected. I decided to take my business a step further and relocate to Atlanta where I’m currently in the process of opening a retail location.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For the most part, it has been a smooth road. My hardest struggle is hiring staff that won’t eat the product and that are dedicated to help build the business.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Blended and Baked?
I chose the name Blended and Baked because I blend unique recipes and bake them into delicious cookie flavors. My top sellers are cookies n cream, banana pudding and strawberry cheesecake cookies. I also make Rice Krispie treats. People that know me would tell you that I put 100 percent into everything that I do from promoting entrepreneurship, running a cleaning business to baking cookies. Customer service and satisfaction are always a priority and that’s what I believe sets me apart from other business owners. I’m proud of myself for staying consistent with my products and relocating from Denver to Atlanta to follow my dreams. So far, things have been looking up and I’m happy with how business is going. I want everyone to know that I have big dreams for Blended and Baked and see my brand in your local stores soon enough!
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
My definition of success is achieving personal goals whatever they may be and being able to learn and grow from any obstacles that stood in the way.
