Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeff Jalloh.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Jeff Jalloh im a 38 years old man of god. Husband of 9 years to my beautiful wife. A father of my 4 beautiful kids and a young entrepreneur. I grew up in North Georgia. I was the first and oldest child of my siblings. My father and mother were from West Africa. They came to the usa in there 20’s. My father was a wise hardworking man alot of knowledge.
My mother was a hardworker and business woman very sharp. She passed away at a young age 27 when i was 4 years of age. I was the only child at the time. My dad eventually married again and had two other kids outside of my mother. Before my dad eventually married again. I had a village of family and friends who stepped up after the passing of my mother. They raised me like a son. My Aunty Yama,Marie, Grandma Dana,Aunty Janet,Eliza and my step mother’s. They really showed me unconditional love and im forever grateful. Growing up my father held his own and raised me well but it was hard without my biological mom. I didn’t understand it i was really lost, but i knew i had to be strong. I eventually used that as energy to better myself. My dad always told me to get a trade and it always stuck with me. 2014 I joined the union apprenticeship program for 5 years. At first I was terrible in it. I was laughed at and always breaking things, but i never quit. As time went by i kept failing and trying again. I eventually passed my journeyman license and became the first master plumber in my class. I never stopped. You only fail when you quit its a marathon. I did alot of side jobs through my apprenticeship program. In 2020 legally I eventually branched into my business. i started a business in a small nissan vehicle and converted into a van. I believed in myself and loved to service residential and commercial project. My faith in my religion grew and taught me to be more disciplined and consistent. My family grew me and my beautiful wife made 4 beautiful kids and im forever grateful.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No its never smooth thats what life is about. Being uncomfortable in life thats when you doing something. Being patient and being discipline. I still struggle with that now but im getting better.
