Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Minick.
Hi Justin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I started in digital marketing in 2018 creating and optimizing ad campaigns to grow my first business, a fitness gym in Marietta. I learned how to create ads from personal trial and error. Enjoying the process, it helps me help people in the community to get healthier in fitness.
One day, I responded to a business owner’s post in a Facebook group asking for help with managing their software and creating ads for her multi locations. I offered to help and enjoyed the experience of helping the business owner market their business to helping more people in her local community live healthier lives.
At the moment, that is when a thought came to mind to help business decision-makers with marketing their business to attract more customers to their services or products.
Now today, I enjoy helping businesses market their business online to raise more awareness of the brand that leads to more sales. The business wins for helping new people, the customer wins for receiving services, and I win as well for the impact of helping the local community.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Learning the skill of digital marketing has been a very rough road but very rewarding. Anything attempted the first few times are hard at first. Very rewarding to see the right metrics are met that leads to the desired outcomes.
As you know, we’re big fans of SOS Marketing Solutions. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I help business attract more customers through online paid advertisements.
What separates me from majority of online marketers is that I create the ads within the business’s account unlike other digital marketers. The business decision-maker can see the ads and the performance with me. My services are a flat fee monthly and does not increase if the business wants to invest heavily into their ad spend. Most importantly, I have skin in the game of being involved with being a business owner in a brick-and-mortar location. I have personal experience of being a brick-and-mortar business owner.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Think big; you will do big.
