Community Highlights: Meet Katelynn Gonzalez of The Vineyard Spa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Katelynn Gonzalez.

Hi Katelynn, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey to The Vineyard Spa is really a story of surrender and God’s restoration in my life. I spent four years running a beauty business focused on lash extensions. On the outside it looked successful, but inside I was changing. When I gave my life to Christ, He began transforming my heart in ways I didn’t expect. I suddenly felt called to put it all down. The business, the identity I built around it, everything. So I dissolved that business as a whole and went back into corporate America. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but I chose obedience even without a clear picture of what was next.

About a year later, the Lord began calling me back — but not to what I had before. He showed me a clear vision regarding The Vineyard. He wanted me to use my hands, my gifts, and my love for beauty and His people as ministry. Not just a business, but a place of prayer and worship where women could breathe, be poured into, and encounter His peace. That’s where The Vineyard Spa was born. Out of His prompting, not my own plans.

Now, everything I do inside The Vineyard Spa is done unto Him. It’s more than facials, brows, and waxing; it’s ministry. It’s deeper than just skincare, it’s soul care. It’s me stewarding what He has entrusted me with and creating a place where His presence is felt in the smallest details. And honestly, that’s how I got here — by letting Him write the story instead of trying to write it myself. All in all, it is truly just an act of obedience and I see His hand on each encounter I’ve had with all my clients that enter into The Vineyard Spa.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s definitely been challenging! Outside of the business aspect, a lot of warfare comes with walking in your purpose. But, by God’s grace, I have all the tools I need to overcome any attacks. On the business side there have been peaks and valleys in my finances where some months are better than others, but I believe the failures that I experienced in my last business model have equipped me to pivot in this one. The beauty of it all is that I see things with new eyes and can see God’s hand in each and every season. It’s all a lesson to prepare you for what promises He has for you. The valleys strengthen your character and endurance through the difficult times is all part of not only business, but life in general.

My name is Katelynn and I’m the steward over The Vineyard Spa, which is a Christ-centered spa specializing in results-driven skincare. We offer customized facials targeting a range of skin concerns such as hyperpigmentation, acne, dryness, rosacea, etc. and offer several treatments such as dermaplaning, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion. We also offer brow services such as tints and lamination, along with full-body waxing. Though my clients receive excellent service, what I am truly known for is creating a peaceful, Holy Spirit–led environment where women feel cared for in both their skin and their soul. All that I do is unto the Lord and each encounter is intended in a way to honor Him and serve His daughters well.

What sets me apart is the heart behind the name. A vineyard isn’t rushed. It’s a place where fruit is developed slowly, season by season, through care, pruning, and intentional nurture. And that’s what The Vineyard Spa represents to me and to the women I serve. It’s a reminder that God grows us gently, patiently, and beautifully over time. I approach skincare the same way: not as a quick fix, but as a journey of restoration inside and out. My clients know that when they come to me, they’re not just receiving another service. They’re entering a space prayed over, thoughtfully curated, and rooted in the presence of God. I customize every treatment to the woman in front of me, and my goal is always that she leaves feeling restored, seen, and strengthened.

The Vineyard is built on John 15:5 — abiding in Him. My brand represents growth, transformation, peace, and the beautiful process of becoming. Just like fruit develops over time, I want every woman to feel like she’s being gently cultivated — inside and out every time she steps into my care.

How do you think about happiness?
I have been blessed with such a strong community of girls who are equally as on fire for the Lord and being around them truly makes me soooo happy!!! For such a long time I felt so alone, but now having such amazing friends that I not only grow in Christ with, but do life with has been amazing. Another thing that makes me sooo happy is being in nature!! I love a good hike, watching the sunrise or sunset, I’m always in awe of trees and just being outside around the beauty of creation always puts me in the best mood.
