Today we’d like to introduce you to Kayla Reese.
Kayla, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was a nurse for 18 years and worked in a primary care clinic for 16 years. March 2019, I was instructed by the Holy Spirit to leave my job, with fear I didn’t do it because of such. Later August 2019, I eventually left and fearful in my heart. I had to understand that I was destined to move forward in greatness. I surrounded myself with people that were above my pay grade, that heighten my understanding of being wealthy. I launched my T-shirt business, Counseling Company, and Cleaning and janitorial service.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It is not been a smooth road, there were many disappointments. I love friends and some relationships along the way. Many moments I felt lost. I felt as if I should go back to work. The responsibility of bookkeeping, money, time management, etc. I learned that every struggle was to produce me for the next big step.

Transformation with Dr. Kay. I offer therapy for relationships, individuals, ministry, and families. I love to see broken people, it produces perfection. No one leaves the same after the transformation.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
When looking for a mentor, you must know what you need and require. If not, you will began to submit to your brokenness and never move forward. Don’t become a fan of your mentor but yet respect. A fan will not last, the very moment something is not done to their liking they leave and won’t be receptive to your teaching or instructions.
