Hi Lamar, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My thought process behind starting my own business goes back to childhood. I always imagined myself running some type of operation—big or small. I loved the idea of everyone playing a role to get something done. That always intrigued me… and it still does.
On top of that, both of my parents were entrepreneurs. I watched them work regular jobs and then take the leap into owning businesses. Seeing that difference changed my life. From a young age, I told myself I’d own a company or help run one someday. I didn’t know what it would be—I just knew it would be mine.
No disrespect, but I also hated the idea of working for someone else. The workforce wasn’t built to reward people fairly. You work long hours, can’t always take time off, and you’re underpaid while the company profits off your hard work. When I started realizing how much money I was making companies versus what I was bringing home… that was it for me. I knew if I could do it for them, I could do it for myself.
And from that point on, entrepreneurship became my mindset.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Getting here wasn’t easy. There were setbacks. People doubted me. Many even hated. But every loss became a lesson. Every obstacle made me stronger.
And through it all, I stayed prayed up.
One thing I live by is P.U.S.H. — Pray Until Something Happens.
Faith without work is dead, so I put prayer and work behind everything I do.
If there’s one thing I want people to know, it’s this:
Everything I’ve accomplished started as a thought… and then I put it in motion.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I always imagined myself running some type of operation. Watching my parents work for themselves shaped my mindset and sparked my passion for entrepreneurship. I truly believe the drive to build something of my own is in my blood. I’ve always been someone who thinks independently, which naturally pushed me toward creating my own path instead of following one that didn’t fit me.
