Today we’d like to introduce you to Monica Swint

Hi Monica, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m THAT GIRL from the west side of New Orleans,La. who fell in love with the beauty industry at the age of 7. In high school, I had the opportunity to work at the number one hair salon in the new Orleans as a shampoo girl. That is where I learned “women buy what they see”, meaning if you look good, they want to look like you which leads to them spending more money in the salon. I owned and operated a hair salon for years before pivoting into my nursing career. I’m a graduate from the Charity School of Nursing in New Orleans and then continued my studies at UL with a BS in nursing. I’ve been a nurse now for 17 years . I’ve always wanted to find a way to bridge nursing and beauty which lead me to open Fleaux with Mo IV hydration and beauty where we specialized in health and wellness; aging gracefully. After owning that business of 4 years , I made a pivot an d launched Monica Swint Consulting. At Monica Swint Consulting, I help beauty/med spas grow and scale their business by providing practical solutions and branding stratigies to help them dominate their market. MSC is a few years old and we are helping Beauty/Med Spas grow one business at a time.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being a woman in business has challenges, however I find it imperative to surround myself with risk takers and I nurture the relationships in the network that I’m building. I’ve found it challenging at time to gain funding when needed to grow my business.

also,analyze current business operations and recommend improvements to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and maximize profitability.

We aim to streamline the client’s business processes to increase profitability.

We are known for design and implementing training programs to enhance the skills of med spa staff, improving service quality and client satisfaction.

We are most proud of our newly launched service The Premium Med Spa Branding Experience.
