Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Jarmay.
Hi Natalie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am 24 years old, born and raised in Jupiter FL. I’ve always had a number of passions involving art, fashion, mermaids, and the ocean from a very young age. Blessed to have grown up only 10 minutes from the beach, I’ve always known to live life in a bikini.
As I got older, confident & independent women have truly inspired me, so I decided to tastefully tailor swimwear for them!
My first long-term job was working as a sales associate and assistant buyer at my local surf shop. From there, I learned a lot about fit, fabrics, style, and more. I now devote my experience and knowledge to growing my business to its full potential.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Although I’ve had incredible support from the beginning, it has not always been easy. Some struggles I’ve faced was delays in registering my LLC due to the pandemic, finding the correct measurements for a “true to size” fit, delays in manufacturing, product defects, and learning about business taxes.
As a “one woman show” I manage everything from finances, marketing, inventory, shipping orders, etc. That being said, I’ve dealt with stress quite often. I think stress has been my primary struggle. As a small business owner, you will experience feeling overwhelmed or doubtful at one point. I recommend to practice patience and gratitude daily. That has helped me recognize all of my wins, no matter how big or small.

Success is a reflection of one’s happiness. I believe that success isn’t related to money, but rather waking up every day in a good mood. From there, the possibilities are endless. Just one day of feeling joyous can achieve so much more than years of feeling depressed or angry.
