Today we’d like to introduce you to NO B.A.N. WORLD. Them and their team share their story with us below:
NO B.A.N. WORLD was founded by Alex Otway, Devynn, Bishop Lloyd, Simon Miles & Justin Maisonave in September 2020. The brand took its first steps by creating a music podcast, Bedrock Radio, to highlight underground artists in the Atlanta music scene. In February 2021 we released the Rokkai Live Set, pioneering a style of content into the underground scene that was only seen by larger platforms such as NPR Tiny Desk. The year goes on and we continue to grind, Bedrock Radio Season 2 launches, we release more Live Sets, connect with more artists, and begin to produce music videos. After building a small following the team of 5 grew into a team of 9 adding members: Zipporah Eileen, Elijah Joiner, Barnabas White, and Broderick Armbrister. August 28th, 2021 we host our first festival NO B.A.N. SUMDAYS, opening the floodgates to our new wave within the city. After the success of NO B.A.N. SUMDAYS we took a break to plan out our next steps with our newfound momentum.
January 2022, we launch our new series, NO B.A.N. CERTIFIED, highlighting talented musicians via live performances and interviews. This brought a breath of fresh air into our content that gave our audience another tangible way to engage with the platform. We built on that momentum by bringing back Bedrock Radio for season 3. At this point we are starting to build a name within the underground scene in Atlanta, we are showing our faces at events and people eagerly want to be a part of the platform. Summer comes along and CEO, Alex, puts together a pool party in July to garner brand recognition & promote the Main event Wit Da Homies Live. From August 4th – August 20th we go on a 16-day marketing campaign to promote the Wit Da Homies Live music festival. Showcasing a level of Brand marketing unseen by event promotors in the Atlanta underground music scene. August 20th, 2022 we sold out the venue, had lines forming outside the door & blocking traffic, solidifying our presence into scene. We continued to set the tone by releasing the full sets on our YouTube channel available to watch and relive forever. Today we continue our Certified series and 3rd Season of Bedrock Radio.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not. Internal conflicts are bound to happen when you are working in a team of young adults with independent minds. Conflicting opinions, unaligned schedules, differing communication styles, the works. As with all other obstacles we overcame and will continue to overcome, the train stops for no one.

We are a multimedia platform dedicated to highlighting artists. Currently, our focus is on musicians however, our mission statement has been and will always be focused on artists of all mediums: Fashion, Painters, Photographers, Directors, etc.
Quality, Consistency, and Authenticity is what sets us apart from others. 2022 was a great indicator of the potential that NO B.A.N. WORLD has as not only a media platform but as a Movement.
It could be that its still fresh in our minds but Wit Da Homies Live was different, the energy was different, the audience reaction was different, the respect was different. NO B.A.N. SUMDAYS was great but Wit Da Homies Live… that was Legendary.
