Hi Paige, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Paige Moyer is a renowned Medical Aesthetician, Healthcare Professional, Semi-Permanent Makeup Artist, Business Consultant, and proud Founder of Rooty Aesthetics & Wellness and Paisley James Consulting. Paige sets the highest standards in medical spa and business operations and brings nearly two decades of healthcare, alternative medicine, and advanced aesthetic experience to her boutique medical clinic in Cartersville, GA. Paige began her young search for purpose in the hair industry in her early twenty’s and after soaking the entire salon with the wash bowl hose she quickly learned she had no interest in becoming a hair stylist. She worked out a professional two-week notice (uncommon in that industry) at Three13 Salon in Marietta, GA and began to follow in her paternal-grandmother’s footsteps into the medical field. She worked in Vascular Surgery, Cardiovascular Medicine, Lab Services and Internal Medicine for over a decade before branching into the world of Alternative Medicine and Advanced Aesthetics. With her medical background and credentials, she found herself blessed to work in many capacities in wellness centers, medical spas, chiropractic offices, and doctors offices where she was able to grow personally and professionally providing aesthetic services under doctor-supervision, help practices review and implement new or existing service lines and lead them to meet practice goals with growth and marketing strategy. In 2020, she used the pandemic as an opportunity to reset and level up her goals. She returned to school and graduated from ISSN in Sandy Springs, GA and is now a Licensed Esthetician. Additionally, she obtained certification as a Semi-Permanent Makeup Artist from the Academy of Advanced Cosmetics in Alpharetta, GA. In 2023 she opened her first solo clinic, sharing space with Etowah Energy Spa in Cartersville, GA. She quickly outgrew that space and moved into her own 4 room boutique clinic, November 1st, 2024. Rooty Aesthetics & Wellness Center is conveniently located at 113 North Erwin Street in Downtown Cartersville, Georgia. Her boutique medical spa is doctor-supervised and fully staffed with RN’s, EMT’s, RMA’s, Licensed Esthetician’s, and Master Cosmetologist’s. Services range from weight loss programs, Testosterone Therapy, Men’s & Women’s Health, IV Therapy, Botox & Filler, Basic Holistic Facials, Medical-Grade Facials, Lasers, Microneedling, Semi-Permanent Makeup, Microblading, Vitamin Shots, Skinny Shots, Peptide Therapy, Body Contouring, Body Composition Analysis Scans, and more. Paige’s goals are to make preventative, regenerative and alternative therapies more accessible to patients in a one-stop, boutique, cozy medical spa nestled in her new town. Paige is a native of Cherokee County and recently moved to Bartow County, Georgia 4 years ago to be closer to her Father and live on Lake Allatoona. She now calls Bartow County home and loves the small town feel. When she isn’t working, which isn’t often, she is enjoying lake life with family, friends, her son, and her two dogs. She plans to open a second location in St. Augustine in 2025.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Gosh no. It’s never a smooth road. There are so many road blocks. So many no’s. So many years invested. So many people who say that you can’t, you shouldn’t or you aren’t capable. So many times you want to give up. So many times it feels like it’s over. You just have to remind yourself that God wouldn’t have put that dream on your heart if he wasn’t going to fulfill it. Put one foot in front of the other, keep going and try not to get too discouraged. One day, your dreams and efforts start falling more and more together, and then you feel the urge – it’s time, you just have to jump and take the big risk. That’s the thing, you have to be comfortable being uncomfortable. You have to be ok with taking risks, it feeling super, scary, ignore the naysayers and noise and just go for it. Even then, there’s this point where you realize, you’ve never fully reached that place you thought you were going. There’s alway’s more roadblocks and speed bumps in daily operation of business. You have to make sure you are surrounded by the right people, positive people. loyal, teachable people, and people that want to see you grow and win. Sometimes that circle can feel like it’s getting smaller but if you trim the fat, you’re leaving room for friends and colleagues to enter that are like minded and have the same passions in business, wellness and helping make people feel better. Then you world and circles grow in the right way – the struggles are necessary.

How do you think about happiness?
Happiness to me is helping others look and feel good about themselves – to help restore vitality, energy, confidence and longevity to life. Sharing my experiences professionally and personally to help others grow. I love to teach the teachable and share what I’ve learned in my journey – what has worked and what hasn’t in health, wealth, and wellness. I love to share personal failures and wins to help friends, colleagues and patients grow in life and business. I enjoy educating patients on how to reverse aging processes affordably and sustainably, encouraging a healthy lifestyle and the tools to optimize overall wellness and prevent possible disease progression through regenerative wellness and holistic methods.
