Today we’d like to introduce you to Plaxedes Mandibaya.
Plaxedes, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I remember well at the age of 7, walking into a hospital and genuinely felt at home. The scent, scrubs, call lights, and chaos of the hospital brought me joy and peace and I felt right then and there that it was a calling. Despite me being so little, I felt a sense of peace in hospital and clinic setting and from a young age I just told everyone that I would pursue medicine.
My maternal side is filled with nurses, doctors, and medical provides. My parternal side is beaming with entrepreneurs and so I had to do both because I saw it as generational blessings that I knew ran in both of my bloodlines and so starting was easy because I had support and it came natural.
It was only a matter of time until I realized that I needed to merge the two. I love empowering & educating my patients and clients in them being the front center of their health because health is everything . I enjoy and believe in modern medicine but I also do believe encompassing a holistic appraoch produces better results. I do treat a diverse population with me being multicultured and having been exposed to different cultures and backgrounds, I truly believe it is my duty to also represent people of color because there is a disparity and a lack of having trusted medical providers because of history.
I have been involved in medical missions trips as far as Romania and I have come to the conclusion that I enjoy advocating for every client that I meet, and I enjoy first time clients because I get to give them the best experience but also leave them empowered to make informed decisions based on patient-centered care because what a shame it would be to treat everyone the same when we all different fingerprints.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I am 6 months into entrepreneurship but have been in medicine for over 20 years. It has been a trecherous road but I honestly am so blessed with not only my village, but I really lucked out on having some terrific clients. It has been a hard road but it’s only a matter of picking up what hard you can endure. I have had help, well wishes, and people encouraging me to reach out for help and so that is so humbling and I am enjoying the Process of becoming, and in the midst of it all, I am enjoying the individual I am becoming and I am truly loved.
Some of the struggles include shifting my brain from being employed to me employing people. I have so much respect for entrepreneurs because each day is so different and its either you are learning a different accounting term or remembering how to do sales. Pivoting and realizing I will not be a success over night is also challenging because I am African and so we strive for excellence and nothing else. Another thing is learning every aspect of your business, because I am too young to be outsourcing . Knowing the ins and out of everything. I am a Procrastinator by nature, and so learning how to be organized , put everything on the calendar and not to act of emotions has been challenging.
As you know, we’re big fans of Timeless Beauty and Wellness , GA. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am the founder of founder of TB Wellness, a concierge wellness and IV hydration company as well as a Telemedicine Weightloss clinic in GA. My business focuses not only on aesthetics , but also in wellness treatments, biohacking , and holisitic services. This includes Peptides, NAD+, GLP1 and 2, Wellness shots such as IV vitamins, and IV hydration. We bring the services at your door step. My business is not only limited to that but will be working on oral vitamins, skin care and everything beauty related and that is why I call it a wellness center versus just aesthetics.
I am Multi State Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in several states so as a Medical Provider I can expand my business even in the medical space. I have many specialities that include dermatology, Pain management, Physiatry, Oncology and Occupational Medicine in the Adults and Geriatric Population.
I am building a Medical empire one day at a time and will be diversifying the services. I am most proud of me for starting. I started by myself and each day I get better.
I would like to let readers know that we offer exceptional client centred services and love creating a beautiful experience that not only leaves one revived, rejuvinated as well as educated. I love it when clients ask a lot of question and love sitting down and designing custom made treatment based on what my clients need. I also enjoy them feeling better and taking their wellness and overall health seriously because health is important. I plan on taking it one day at a time, and honestly building my brand in an authentic genuine and refreshing way. I enjoy what I do.

My family, faith, health as well as my culture matter because that is what not only motivates me but the core of who I am.
I also love when my clients share their improved results and them looking amazing and that is when I know I am making a difference,
Collaborations matter to me because Rome was not built over night nor was it built by one person. Interdisciplinary team matters in medicine and I enjoy people. I am very amiable. I was born that way.
Building a strong empire and a legacy matters to me as well because I want to be remembered for changing lives nomatter how small or trivial that change could be
