Radio , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We founded Rádio Brazil Atlanta five years ago, during the pandemic, with the goal of bringing the Brazilian community closer together and providing essential information in Portuguese. Many Brazilians in the region faced challenges due to a lack of English proficiency or time to keep up with local news. That’s why we started translating and broadcasting relevant information, helping our community stay informed.
Over the years, we have grown and diversified our programming, bringing culture, entertainment, and services that make a difference for Brazilians in Atlanta and beyond. Our commitment remains to connect and strengthen our community, always offering quality content and accessible information.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was a significant challenge, especially given the circumstances at the time. We worked tirelessly to build a relationship of trust with our community, dedicating ourselves daily without interruption and investing our own resources to strengthen this commitment. Our goal has always been to demonstrate, through our work, the seriousness and dedication with which we serve the needs of the Brazilian community.

Radio Brazil Atlanta was created to connect and inform the Brazilian community in the United States, especially in the Atlanta region. Since then, we have become a reference in broadcasting news and relevant content in Portuguese, ensuring that our community has access to essential information.
We stand out by providing up-to-date news on immigration, economy, politics, health, and community events with an accessible approach, particularly for those who do not speak English fluently. Our commitment goes beyond communication—we serve as a point of reference and support for Brazilians living abroad.
Our greatest pride is the positive impact we have on the lives of our followers, who feel more connected and informed thanks to our work. We continue to innovate and expand our services to further strengthen this community.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What motivates us most at Rádio Brazil Atlanta is the connection we create with Brazilians in the United States. Informing, supporting, and bringing the community together gives us a strong sense of purpose. We frequently receive messages from followers who feel welcomed and well-informed, reinforcing our dedication to evolving and expanding our work.
The “Melhores do Ano” (Best of the Year) is one of our greatest successes. This event highlights and promotes local Brazilian businesses, boosting entrepreneurs and strengthening the economy. Additionally, we honor individuals who make a significant impact, recognizing those who truly make a difference in the daily lives of Brazilians in the United States.
