Today we’d like to introduce you to Rodney Rogers.
Hi Rodney, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
The journey started back in the year of 2010. I transferred to Kennesaw State University not knowing what my future would be. I truly moved by faith alone knowing God had a plan. I was homeless for almost one year living inside my car without any support, experienced a rare eye disease that almost made me completely blind, and overcame such strong depression. I had no financial backing and could not find a job opportunity. In my first year attending KSU, I met my wife Chelby Rogers. She was such a relief for me. She supported me and assisted to make my life a little smoother. While married to her my life begin to transition for the best. I received an opportunity to work for AT&T Inc with my first year of marriage. This career allowed my financial situation to become better than I ever experienced throughout my lifetime. Within the first five years of our marriage we birthed three beautiful young men Rodney Jr, Gabriel Rogers, and Caleb Rogers, but we were not prepared for which in turn shifted our marriage into a down spiral. We experienced bankruptcy, near divorce, depression, lost our jobs, home, cars, and more. While going through this entire pruning process, this lead me to write my first book in the year of 2017 named “Faith is the Substance of the Unseen”. This books introduces other readers to my personal faith-building experiences in life which provide day to day principles, biblical instructions, and testimonies within my life.
In the year of 2019, I birthed Rodney Rogers Ministries, LLC where we “Reveal Gods Truth. I created this business so I can begin my speaking platform, selling of apparel, selling of books, and community outreach. I have always been a community advocate at heart and never really knew how to begin due to my lack of faith and belief in myself. The trials I experienced in life pruned me to just step out in faith to begin to get the process going. This decision was the greatest decision ever and now I am living a life of purpose.
In the year of 2021, I became a 2X Author. My wife and I Co-authored a book named “We Are One” Principles to a Successful Marriage which cover the topics Trust, Boundaries with Family and Friends, Communication, Trusting God, Keeping God First, and Discernment.
Currently, I am a Follower of Christ, Devoted Husband, Father, Fiber Sales Manager for AT&T National Business, Author, Pastor of Reveal Church Worship Center, Co-Owner of Rodney Rogers Ministries, LLC, and Chelby Rogers Interior Designs. Throughout all the trials I experienced God was able to position me into a place that I can finally say I am happy, walking in purpose, changing lives, impacting communities, and being a vessel to show others no matter where life takes you anything is possible if you just believe.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Experienced Homelessness, Experienced Near blindness from a rare eye disease.
Experienced bankruptcy and lost my home, cars, and almost my marriage.
Experienced being fatherless and never had a figure in my life to lead me into purpose.
Experienced heavy depression and anxiety.

Reveal Church Worship Center is a new church plant in the Douglasville, Georgia and surrounding counties.
The vision of this ministry is to build Faith, Family, and Marriage One Day at a Time.
I am the Founder/Lead Pastor of this organization. We specialize in speaking the Word of God and showing others how create a successful marriage, live by faith, and build the family for generational success through teaching and speaking the Word of God.
What sets me apart from others is that I can truly relate to those from all facets of life. I have seen the lows and I have seen highs. This allows me to be able to relate to individuals from all phases of life.
What I am most proud of brand-wise is the fact that I have discipled, trained, and developed others to find their God-given purpose in life.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Within the next 5-10 years, I see myself having an impactful ministry that creates a life of positive change to many individuals not just domestically but internationally. This consists of leadership development programs, thriving church, real estate investment company, Best Selling Author, Internationally Interior Design Business, International Speaker, and Community Advocate.
