Sandrella Sims

Hi Sandrella, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Sandrella Sims began her journey with a heart full of hope and dreams that felt almost impossible. Raised by her grandparents alongside twelve other grandchildren, she grew up in a world where struggle was a constant companion. Her mother passed away when she was just three, and her father battled illness for most of her life, leaving her to navigate an often harsh reality. But even amid the challenges, Sandrella knew there was something greater in store for her. She didn’t have a typical childhood path toward success. By the age of 14, Sandrella had already tapped into her entrepreneurial spirit, selling purses she crafted herself. She ran track, cheered, took college courses in high school and took every opportunity to defy the odds stacked against her. But perhaps the biggest test of her resolve came when she became pregnant at sixteen. Many would have seen this as the end of their dreams, but not Sandrella. Instead, it became the fuel for her fire, the spark that ignited her relentless drive to rise above her circumstances.

Sandrella reflects. “I knew I would rise above it all. My life was filled with pain, but instead of being a victim, I embraced my past. After graduating from Alexander High School in Douglasville, Georgia, Sandrella felt a yearning for more. She pursued continuing education by graduating from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in business. All while being a wife and mother but something inside her knew there was still a bigger calling. The legacy of real estate in her family, particularly the inspiration from her aunt and mentor, beckoned her toward a new path.
It wasn’t an easy journey. Juggling the demands of family life with the complexities of breaking into real estate was no small feat. Yet, Sandrella’s grit carried her through. She obtained her real estate license, and in an unprecedented move during a global pandemic, she shattered records. Soon after, she not only began running a brokerage firm but expanded her horizons into the international market, selling properties in the Dominican Republic and earning licensure to operate globally.

She is licensed in nine countries and has achieved $12 million in total real estate sales worldwide, including selling seven properties in the Dominican Republic. Sandrella’s influence extends beyond transactions, as she has coached clients to become million-dollar producers and authored several e-books. A sought-after speaker, she has shared her expertise at six conferences, including two in Dubai, while building a global brand and expanding her business into the Dubai market.

Now licensed in both Atlanta and Dubai, Sandrella Cash-Sims is on a mission to inspire. “My life is a story of hope and purpose,” she says, “and I want you to feel encouraged and inspired, knowing that by embracing your past, you can step into the magnificence of your future. Sandrella’s ultimate goal is clear: to become the top international real estate professional in Georgia and Dubai. But beyond the accolades and the sales, her deepest desire is to show others that no matter where you come from or what obstacles you face, greatness lies within us all, waiting to be unleashed.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been easy but certainly worth it! One of the biggest challenges I have faced was going from a stay at home mother and wife to managing work- life balance. I had to learn time management quickly. Work Life balance really becomes a lifestyle and is not an option realizing that you taking care of your personal life and your self the best you can you will thrive more in business life. Setting boundaries in business, delegating task and self care is key.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was a bit of a tom boy! I loved sports, I have three brothers so I was always running behind them. At eight I was cooking cleaning and doing my own hair. I was always strong-willed, brave, curious, funny and very affectionate as a kid. I actually still have these traits as an adult. My main interest as a kid was food, reading and fairytale movies, I use to day dream a lot as a kid.
