Community Highlights: Meet Shanna Amoah of Amoah Enterprises, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shanna Amoah.

Shanna Amoah

Hi Shanna, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Meet Shanna Amoah — The Community Connector Behind Amoah Enterprises

Today we’re excited to highlight Shanna Amoah, the Founder & CEO of Amoah Enterprises, LLC, a marketing, community-engagement, and event-concierge firm rooted in the mission:
“Connecting Business to Community.”

But her journey to becoming one of Henry County’s most visible community connectors didn’t start with marketing or event work, it began with a paintbrush.

The Journey: From Paint Parties to Community Impact

Shanna launched Amoah Enterprises in 2019 with her first venture, Party-By-Design, a mobile paint-and-sip concept created to bring people together through creativity. Through that business she built strong partnerships with local government, schools, civic organizations, and city municipalities. Those early collaborations planted the seeds for the community-focused brand she would later build.

In 2024, Shanna stepped into a new role as the Marketing Director for Zaxby’s on Jonesboro Road in Hampton, where she expanded the restaurant’s community reach, strengthened school partnerships, and secured new Partner in Education relationships across Henry County. When the franchise was eventually sold, Shanna knew it was time to return to her own vision, but even bigger.

That moment sparked the rebrand and relaunch of Amoah Enterprises, this time with a sharpened mission and a clearer understanding of her purpose:
connecting people, elevating businesses, and strengthening community engagement.

A Vision That Became a Movement

Under Amoah Enterprises, Shanna conceptualized, produced, and designed the Black Friday Digital Edition Magazine: The Best of Henry County, a first-of-its-kind publication showcasing nearly 100 local and predominantly Black-owned businesses across all four cities in Henry County.

This magazine is more than marketing material; it is a reflection of the region’s growth, culture, entrepreneurship, and the future ecosystem of small business success. It encapsulates Shanna’s belief that visibility and representation matter and that every business deserves a seat at the table.

A Leader Deeply Rooted in Community

Beyond her business, Shanna remains heavily engaged in service, leadership, and education. Her involvement includes:

Henry County Chamber of Commerce Member & Ambassador (2019–present)

Women’s Leadership Council (2021–present)

Her peers affectionately refer to her as “The Mayor of ALL of Henry County” a nod to her visibility, her involvement, and her unwavering dedication to the people and community she serves.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey has not been a smooth or easy road. I’ve had to pivot more than once—first from my Paint & Sip concept, Party-By-Design, and later after my time with Zaxby’s. Life required real adjustments, and at one point, I even had to take a job simply to stabilize my living expenses. But every pivot pushed me closer to where my true passion lives.

Those experiences ultimately led me to Amoah Enterprises, a business built around what I love most: connecting people, building relationships, and engaging the community. Being sociable, bringing people together, and creating spaces where businesses and communities meet is where I thrive. Every step, every shift, prepared me for the work I’m doing now, and I wouldn’t trade that growth for anything.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Amoah Enterprises, LLC?

How do you think about happiness?
I am happiest when I am connecting people businesses to communities, students to opportunities, and neighbors to resources that help them grow. Helping others succeed brings me genuine joy because I truly believe that when one person rises, the entire community rises with them.

I light up when I see a small business gain visibility, a student discover their path, or a community event bring people together. Building relationships, creating impactful experiences, and watching others thrive because of a connection I facilitated fuels me.

I’m also happiest when I’m creating designing content, organizing events, telling stories through marketing, or shaping platforms like the Black Friday Digital Edition Magazine. Creativity isn’t just a skill for me; it’s an expression of purpose.

Ultimately, what makes me happy is seeing my work make a difference. I find joy in service, community leadership, and knowing that my gifts help strengthen Henry County one relationship at a time.
