Today we’d like to introduce you to Shannendoah Gallagher.
Hi Shannendoah, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
In 2010, I graduated from Design School. I got an opportunity working as an intern at a post-production company in Albuquerque, working on commercial shoots and helping the editors set up footage in the production workflow. One of my projects was taking over the website project after their original designer ghosted. I spent a few weeks teaching myself the web builder, delivering the finished product a month later. They put me in charge of their social media after that. I was able to pack their holiday party with guests that year by leveraging social media. It was the start of my digital marketing growth.
We relocated to Atlanta in 2015. My business grew to include website design and development. I was studying SEO and e-commerce in my spare time and building small side projects like a cosplay supply store to learn how to build on platforms like Shopify. In 2018, I had the opportunity to help a client raise money for an organ transplant hospital. The campaign brought in over $180,000 in donations for a small one-night event.
A few years later, in 2021, I was in Chicago to run the Chicago marathon. I had raised over $7200 for The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation to get my entry. I trained for two years for this race after being delayed by the COVID shutdowns. A chance phone call the day before the race led to an opportunity to manage a celebrity stylist’s beauty brand’s e-commerce. In the first six months, I helped them increase their revenue from mid-six figures to $1.1 M by year-end. Over the next two years, I helped them develop systems and marketing platforms to reduce overhead, streamline sales, and leverage behavior-based marketing automations, while dramatically growing their online audience.
Today, I am developing a new digital solution that reduces marketing noise and identifies high-intent leads for small lead-dependent businesses and deal makers, where a recovered contact can make the difference of closing deals worht 10,000-150,000+ to their bottom line.
I would have to say the best decision I made was to invest in myself. I said yes to every opportunity. Some worked out and others were spectacular failures that taught me more than winning ever did.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has been the opposite of smooth. I have had numerous setbacks. I have had to file lawsuits against a few of my past clients when they breached their contracts and withheld payment for work already delivered.
I went through a crushing depression that resulted in gaining 70+ pounds.
I almost lost my marriage during the COVID shutdowns. I had to move out of my apartment and start over in Norcross. It gave me a chance to make some hard choices and reset my life through introspection, meditation, and therapy. I am grateful for that time because I was given the gift of time to learn and grow becoming a better version of myself and strengthening my relationship with my wife.
Dealing with imposter syndrome and the loneliness of entrepreneurship that came with it was a struggle I have dealt with. Being in business has been an emotional and physical process of acceptance and letting go while showing me the how valuable relationships and connection is to living a positive happy life.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business is building digital ystems that drive revenue growth. I created and currently in beta testing a new product, SignalForge™..
SignalForge™ is not a marketing tool, but a specialized revenue infrastructure for businesses that have traffic but lack control. Acting as a “visibility layer” above an existing website and CRM, it detects the “invisible” buyer intent that standard forms miss, transforming anonymous interest into owned conversations. We focus on governance, not lead generation, helping revenue-serious organizations secure the money already in motion through a mandatory Signal Leak Audit™ that quantifies silent revenue loss and delivers decision-grade intelligence to leadership.
I am proud of the work I have done for clients, including helping a client start a nonprofit that drove over $1M in fundraising for heart and organ transplants. I’m very excited about creating SignalForge™, as it is an idea that I had while working in e-commerce.
The focus is on driving sustainable growth for our clients and delivering wins that impact their long-term bottom-line revenue by identifying the right leads at the right time essentially recovering 90% of the lost traffic. The result is a qualified audience that isn’t rented from social media platforms or lists that have been bought by countless companies. We prioritize long term credibility over short term gains.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I love partnering with decisive owners who are driven by their vision and feel pulled to their goals. Creating new things and building them is always an adventure and feeds my competitive spirit. I can be contacted at info@sociallinus.com
