Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiyana Redding.
Hi Tiyana , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in Albany, Georgia, where my entrepreneurial mindset began early. I graduated from Albany State University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, which laid the foundation for how I understand people, behavior, and decision-making skills that now guide my work as a stylist, brand strategist, and creative director.
Dolly’s Collections was my first official venture and served as my entry point into entrepreneurship. What began as selling fur slides and fashion accessories quickly evolved into a hands-on education in branding, sourcing, customer experience, and consistency. That startup phase allowed me to build confidence and understand the importance of storytelling and identity in fashion.
As my creative direction became more defined, Signed 626 was birthed from Dolly’s Collections as a natural evolution rather than a replacement. Signed 626 operates as a styling and creative services brand, where I work closely with clients to develop personal style, brand image, and visual identity. The name is inspired by “626 Ave,” a symbolic space representing growth, direction, and building something meaningful from the ground up.
Currently based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, I am continuing to expand Signed 626 while pursuing a degree in Fashion Merchandising. Combining my background in psychology with formal fashion education allows me to approach styling strategically understanding not only how people want to look, but how they want to feel and be perceived.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of psychology, fashion, and branding. Whether through Dolly’s Collections or Signed 626, my focus remains on intentional styling, authentic storytelling, and helping individuals and brands present themselves with confidence and clarity.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey has definitely not been a smooth road, but each challenge played a necessary role in my growth. One of the biggest obstacles early on was navigating entrepreneurship without a clear blueprint. When I launched Dolly’s Collections, I was learning everything in real time from inventory management and branding to consistency and customer trust while also balancing life after college.
Another challenge was evolving without losing momentum. As my vision expanded, I had to make intentional decisions about growth, including transitioning from a product-based business into a service-focused creative brand with Signed 626. That shift required clarity, patience, and the confidence to trust my instincts, even when growth felt uncomfortable.
Balancing education alongside entrepreneurship has also been a challenge. Returning to school for Fashion Merchandising while actively building a styling and creative services brand required discipline and time management. However, it ultimately strengthened my foundation and sharpened my approach to both fashion and business.
Overall, the challenges taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of staying aligned with purpose. Each obstacle helped refine my direction and reinforced my commitment to building something intentional, sustainable, and meaningful.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Signed, 626?
Signed 626 is a styling and creative services brand rooted in intentional image-building and storytelling. I work as a stylist, brand strategist, and creative director, helping individuals and brands develop a visual identity that feels authentic, confident, and aligned with who they are and where they’re going.
My work focuses on personal styling, brand image development, and creative direction, blending fashion with strategy rather than trends alone. What sets Signed 626 apart is the psychological approach behind every styling decision. With a background in psychology and formal training in fashion merchandising, I approach style as a form of communication—understanding how clothing impacts confidence, perception, and self-expression.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of creating a business that bridges creativity with strategy. Signed 626 is not about dressing people it’s about helping them feel seen, confident, and aligned. I want readers to know that my work is deeply personal, purpose-driven, and centered on empowering people through style.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is alignment; helping people feel confident, seen, and authentic in who they are. Whether I’m working with an individual client or developing a brand’s visual identity, my goal is always to create something that reflects truth rather than performance.
I also value growth and purpose. My journey—from Dolly’s Collections to Signed 626, and from psychology to fashion merchandising—has taught me that evolution is necessary. Staying aligned with who I am becoming, rather than who I once was, is something I prioritize both personally and professionally.
At the core of everything I do is the desire to build something meaningful—work that inspires confidence, encourages self-awareness, and reminds people that how they present themselves should feel intentional, empowering, and true to who they are.
