Hi Yannah, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Yannah Lashea, 19 year old entrepreneur and upcoming mentor. I own my own lip care company by the name of “Humble Luxury LLC” At the moment, I sell lipgloss and lip liner, we are hoping to expand our business with more lip care products this 2023. I started my business when I was 15 years old, I was selling lipgloss in the 10th Grade, starting with the name “Glosses By Lasheaa.” My inspiration to start my own business started when I was 13, I knew I didn’t want to have a boss, I wanted to be the boss! I got that mindset from my Grandfather who owns his own pest control business in New Jersey. It wasn’t until I was 14 until I figured out what it was I wanted to sell. I always had a big interest in cosmetics but my main obsession was with lipgloss. After selling out for my first time as “Gloss By Lasheaa” selling and making lipgloss and lip scrubs, I kind of got stuck when it came to my business. As we know there are many trials and errors in entrepreneurship, After not giving up relaunching the third time I finally decided to take my business more seriously and get my LLC in 2022. I relaunched my business 01/11/23 by the name of “Humble Luxury LLC” and I now sell 5 different shades of LED/Mirror lipglosses, squeeze tubes & 4 different shades of lip liners! The meaning behind the name “Humble Luxury” is letting women around the world know that it’s okay to be HUMBLE but never forget the LUXURY you deserve. Here at Humble Luxury, we focus on getting in touch with your outer beauty and inner ego, with our products that are not only made to help you LOOK good but to FEEL good as well!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I would say my journey is still going and it hasn’t been the smoothest but that’s what comes with entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship doesn’t only come with risk but it comes with patience, CONSISTENCY & faith. With those 3 main skills, you can get through entrepreneurship whether the road is smooth or bumpy!

“Humble Luxury LLC” is not only just my business but it’s my “billionaire brand”. I plan to have my business worldwide in stores, vending machines and much more! Day by day I’m doing whatever it takes to just expand and be an inspiration to others showing them what happens when you don’t quit! I not only sell lipglosses and lip liners but I provide E-Books that help other young upcoming entrepreneurs that aspire to own their own Lipgloss Business one day. I feel like that’s something I’m most proud of about my business because I can say I’m actually helping others the way I would’ve wanted someone to help me. I feel my business is different from any competitors in my industry because I actually care about how my customers feel (or as we call them #HumbleBaes) I make sure I’m selling the best of the best products and giving them that Luxury experience they deserve. What’s next?
I have so many big plans for the future not only for myself but for my business! As stated, I plan on selling out of stores, hopefully opening up my own stores and having vending machines in the mall & college campuses. I see my business on billboards, getting promoted by big influencers and even growing big on our online store. The roads are endless when it comes to entrepreneurship so I dream big because I know there’s a lot out there for me! My business will create generational wealth for my family now and my family I create in the future! Hoping to inspire young girls all around the world to own their own lipgloss businesses and even becoming a mentor!
