Star Martin is from St.Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. She is a Soca/Afro artist. Star Martin has had a love for singing since the tender age of five. Star Competed in Hal Jackson Talented Teen winning “Best Talent” segment, which began her recognition on the island for her undeniable voice and talent. From there, Star relocated to Advance her career. Since then, Star has performed on numerous stages and opened for acts such as Destra, Shenseea, Nailah Blackman, Mr.Killa and Voice to name a few. Currently, Star Martin has been drafted to be apart of the Kerwin Dubois “Sput Project” alongside 19 other artists from around the globe as a writer and artist. Current works include her hit single “Love like this,” along with new music to come!

Star has encountered many struggles, but a major one for her was changing genres. She started out in R&B and crossed over in 2015.

Star was set apart from early on because of her stage performances. Some supporters call her the Beyoncé of the Virgin Islands because of the heavy influence and also the similar stage presence.
