Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Roses Leigha Lane.
Hi Alexandra Roses, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ritual Atlanta began with a simple connection between two women in Atlanta. Leigha was working in the beauty and wellness space, and Alex first stepped into her chair as a client. Over time, casual appointments turned into deep conversations—and a genuine friendship was born.
What started as small talk quickly evolved into dreaming big. Both Alex and Leigha felt a shared desire to create something that didn’t quite exist in Atlanta: a space that blended wellness, beauty, and intentional community in a way that felt grounded, elevated, and real. They wanted to make room for people who were doing the work, seeking more, and craving meaningful connection along the way.
With complementary backgrounds—Alex in sales and strategy, Leigha in beauty and wellness—they brought different strengths to the table but shared one vision: to reimagine what wellness could feel like.
In September 2024, that vision came to life with the launch of Ritual ATL, a co-ed, wellness social club rooted in movement, beauty, and community. What began with intimate events like vision board nights and Pilates pop-ups has grown into a dynamic community that gathers monthly for everything from sound baths and facials to book club walks and healing ceremonies.
Ritual ATL is a reflection of the kind of space we both needed—and we’re so proud to be building it with a community that continues to grow, evolve, and inspire us every day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like most meaningful journeys, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—but every bump along the way has shaped us and made our vision stronger.
Building Ritual Atlanta from the ground up has required a lot of heart, hustle, and resilience. One of our biggest challenges early on was introducing a new concept in a saturated wellness market. We’re not just a workout class or a beauty brand—we’re creating an entirely new kind of space where people can connect, heal, and grow. That meant we had to get really clear on our mission and find creative ways to communicate that value to both our community and our partners.
Another challenge has been learning how to scale while staying true to our roots. As demand for our events has grown, we’ve had to create systems that allow us to grow intentionally—without losing the personal, curated feel that makes Ritual ATL so special. From managing logistics and event planning to brand partnerships and community building, we’ve worn a lot of hats.
And of course, being women entrepreneurs comes with its own set of challenges—from navigating financial risk to advocating for ourselves in every room. But we’ve leaned on each other, stayed grounded in our values, and continued to build a business that we genuinely believe in.
The journey has had its highs and lows, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything. Every challenge has brought us closer to our community and more aligned with our purpose.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Our work is creating meaningful experiences that connect people—to themselves and to each other.
We came into the wellness space with curiosity, creativity, and a deep desire to make people feel something. Through thoughtfully curated gatherings, we design spaces that nourish, delight, and invite authenticity.
With roots in beauty, corporate, creative, and community work, we bring a unique blend of perspectives. Together, we make things feel beautiful—but more importantly, we make them feel meaningful.
What makes you happy?
There’s truly nothing like the feeling right after our event wraps. It’s this euphoric, heart-full moment where all the energy, intention, and behind-the-scenes work come together—and you can literally feel the impact it had on everyone in the room.
What makes us happiest is watching strangers become friends, seeing someone take a deep breath and actually relax, or hearing that someone felt seen and supported in a way they hadn’t in a long time. That’s what lights us up. That’s why we do this.
It’s those quiet thank-you’s, the shared laughter, the unfiltered conversations that happen after class or around the table. That sense of connection is what makes us feel like we’re doing something meaningful. It reminds us that Ritual is so much more than a business—it’s a space for people to feel held, inspired, and reminded of their own power. That’s what fills us up and keeps us going.
