Conversations with Ashley Robinson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Robinson.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Simply with God! He found me in a low place and he flipped my life around. I made a vow to God that if he saved my life, I would in return give him the glory. Now nine years later, I’m putting on for his kingdom.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, no, no, lol. I thought when God came to me and saved me, there would be wins, happiness, and no L’s. I think that was my biggest misconception. My struggles with writing my book were difficult for me. I was pregnant and the pandemic had just hit. I remember praying to God for a business or something I could invest in and the answer was you. I did not understand what he meant by that. Everything kept pointing back to the vision he gave me about investing in myself. I decided to get serious and made a big decision. The lord previously told me that would be my last year working. I was scared because that was a steady income, I had just conceived my third child, with a couple of months of savings, and it was a pandemic. So I quit! Things began to pop off in my life left to right that made me question was that God’s command. I stuck to the plan and invested my savings into dropping my book. And to my surprise, it sold out in a day! The whole situation strengthened my faith.m My book sold out the first day with no social media presence plus no marketing team. I’m beyond grateful and it blessed so many people. It was God’s plan and I followed his command.

Now my actual ministry/ life coaching…….

I struggled in the beginning due to limited resources, support, and financial assistance. I was labeled and judged versus welcomed. People were so caught on what a person should look like, their background, and what their current life should reflect; that they missed the blessing. The door was slammed in my face plenty of times. I was told God doesn’t use people like me. I was denied two speaking engagements because of that. I didn’t lose hope or stop there. I stayed focused and authentic to who I was. I used all that adversity and the obstacles as motivation to fuel who I am today. I have hosted numerous successful conferences, healing classes, and helped so many people with my God-given gifts, knowledge, and testimony.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a motivational speaker, author, and relationship life coach for now, lol. I’m proud of myself for not giving up even when no one clapped. I’m set apart because the lord made me so relatable and rare. I have a genuine love for what I do. I meet people who are blown away by how relatable I am. I get called the spiritual mirror.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the networking, family-friendly environment, and the vibes.

I do not have any complaints other than I live over 2 hours away. It is the commute for me, lol.
