Today we’d like to introduce you to Austin Whatley
Hi Austin , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was a entertainer for 10 years, Ive done Drag all over the south east. As of last year I retired from the Drag scene and only coming out if it’s for a good cause. Ive since changed focus to my amazing carrer as a first responder. Since ive. retired from doing Drag i’ve been blessed to help build some amazing events in the south east. Ive been able to assist in building some amazing events. Ive enjoyed seeing a vision put to work and its very nice to stay out the spotlight and just collect the checks.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been the rockiest of road but I wouldn’t have it any other way. When you are comfortable you don’t grow.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I was A entertainer for 10 years, During that time I was blessed to have multiple small pieces on shows filmed in Atlanta. Now I have slowed down and I spend much more of my time at home. Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Work hard and keep your head down. If they are not at the level you wish to be some day then don’t take their advice. Also The fastest pace to achieve your dreams is slowly” Don’t rush enjoy the climb.
