Hi Bonita, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been a PMU | Lash Artist for two years now located in Tuscaloosa, AL. When I first decided to become apart of the beauty industry, I was in college pursuing nursing. I’ve always wanted to help and take care of people as long as I’ve known but I knew it was something else I wanted to do. Talking to my husband about my future career made all things make since. He said to me, “Do what makes you HAPPY” and it clicked, so I took a leap of faith. I got certified in microblading and eyelash extensions. Today, I can say I’m living my dream!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would definitely be lying if I said the road has been smooth. I also knew that anything worth having wouldn’t be easy! Because of my faith in God, I pushed on cause I know it’s Glory at the end.
