Conversations with Brandon Johnson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Johnson.

Hi Brandon, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I never graduated high school but loved making money so much that making money came first. I’ve had plenty of good warehouse jobs paying good money but it never seemed to be enough was I had a few kids (3 daughters) and got married (daughter and son) (5 total). The bosses never approved time off, strict company rules, Company B/S, low company moral, etc. I started worked two full-time jobs to make ends meet until 2016 when I had a headache for three days straight and found out I had high blood pressure. The doctor told me to be off for two weeks and begin medicine. That’s when I started Precision Home Inspection.

I started out doing 1-2 home inspections a week to 10-17 a week now, not including any auxiliary services. I learned this business the hard way by trial and error but was able to achieve new heights every year. I have three employees now and business is still thriving.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not. The first year was very slow as I learned the business and made a bunch of mistakes. I didn’t have the money to purchase some tools or company gear/clothing, at the time I was driving a beat up 1996 Grand marquis. 1 big thing was learning how to talk to the clients and actually get the inspection.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a hard worker dedicated to providing top-notch services and quality to each and every client. We currently have over 70 5 star reviews online. We post regularly on our social media pages and we offer $20 gift cards to people when they refer family or friends.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family, Going to good restaurants and playing video games (PS4, XBOX, Nintendo and Oculus. Also, I’m a big car guy, Old schools, Chrome rims and speakers.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Born and raised in ATL. I grew up in College Park on Old National. I love my real Atlanta people, the southern slang/hospitality, I love riding through the hood seeing all the old school cars. I love how far Atlanta has come from, the rap/hip hop/music, to seeing people that look like me doing positive things. I also feel like I know all of Atlanta because I do so much driving.

I hate the violence/robberies, Streets/potholes, lack of police presence, poor response times, the large amount of homeless people.
