Hi Celeste, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My oldest son and husband share a deep passion for fishing, a tradition my husband started weekly with our sons as they were growing up. They would always invite me to join, but fishing has never really been my thing. As my sons got older, they came up with a plan—if we bought a boat, maybe I’d be more inclined to come along.
In 2016, we purchased our first houseboat, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Over time, my love for lake and boat life inspired me to get creative. I started designing lake, boat, and fishing-themed t-shirts for the whole family. I also merged this passion with my love of cooking, creating aprons with funny and nostalgic sayings—many inspired by my grandmama’s words.
Boat life has become a true passion and a source of joy for me. Through my blog, social media, t-shirt designs, and recipes, I hope to share that joy with others. I also want people to know that the lake is more than just a place for fishing or boating—it’s a destination filled with activities for everyone. And while boating can seem like a luxury, there are affordable options for anyone looking to experience the peace, fun, and memories that life on the water has to offer.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Honestly, I’m still working on it. There are definitely highs and lows, but I’m fully committed to my passion and ready to put in the work it takes to reach my goals. Over the past year and a half, I’ve been able to take what was once just an idea and, with God’s grace, turn it into something real. I’ve had the privilege of meeting some incredible people along the way who’ve helped bring this vision to life.
One of the biggest challenges has been building the brand identity and infrastructure, creating the website, setting up social media, and consistently engaging with my support base. It’s been a lot of work and, honestly, at times it feels overwhelming. Staying consistent with posts, recipes, and fresh ideas while trying to maintain the quality and authenticity of what I offer has been tough. But I know that anything worth having comes with its struggles, and I’m up for the challenge.

A dedicated entrepreneur, she has harnessed her creative talents to build a series of successful ventures, including hairstyling, wedding and event consultation, and floral distribution. Now, she’s making waves with her latest endeavor: a lake and boating culture lifestyle brand. Through this venture, Celeste aims to inspire and empower disenfranchised communities by revealing the beauty, wonder, and endless possibilities of a culture that has often overlooked them.
As a proud mother and devoted wife, Celeste brings her wealth of accomplishments, problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking to this new chapter of her life. She finds her greatest joy and inspiration on the water, where she escapes to her houseboat, a sanctuary for tranquility and meaningful bonding time with her family.
From fishing and cooking to sailing the lake on her pontoon and camping on an island (or “glamping,” as she calls it), Celeste embraces every magical moment that lake life offers. Her passion for the nautical lifestyle fuels her desire to share this world with other boating and lake enthusiasts, creating a culture of connection, adventure, and unforgettable memories.

Sorry.. but I don’t believe in luck! I believe in Jesus! I owe everything to Him… Every success is a testament to Him goodness.. Every quote unquote failure is a lesson..
