Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Brown.
Hi Danielle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In 2011, I founded Makeup Craze Beauty out of a need to service close friends and family members with their beauty requests. After working in various salons and the MAC counter, in 2016, I acquired my Esthetics license and I opened my first makeup studio and facial spa in Jacksonville, FL. Being a makeup artist for over ten years, I realized I wanted to dig deeper and actually help women build their image as a whole.
In 2021, I became a Certified Image Consultant.
Now, as a new resident of Atlanta, I service individuals from top to bottom. That includes skincare, makeup, wardrobe styling and photography. I’m am the go to person for all things dealing with your image.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I learned a long time ago that it wouldn’t be easy. Business is revolutionary. No matter the plan, there will be roadblocks and things that change along the way. Conform and keep moving forward. I’ve had personal issues in life that I had to push past to make my career happen. I lost my first salon and had to rebuild. In the rebuilding came a different vision for my salon and for my life. I’m thankful for the adversities because they made me who I am today.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m most known for being a professional makeup artist and beauty educator. My salon, Makeup Craze Beauty is one of my greatest accomplishments to date. Not only because it has provided a way and life for me but for many others as well. My main goal for Makeup Craze Beauty is to provide a breeding ground for growth for other artists to become their own boss. My purpose is always to reach back and help other women succeed.
Since becoming an image consultant, I am definitely set apart from the rest because my services are all-inclusive. If I don’t provide the service, I have reputable vendors who can.
I also host a women’s empowerment event called FORWARD. Our 4th Annual event will be held here in Atlanta. It is a powerful event that equips women with tools and connections on moving forward in their personal lives and careers.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I sing, act and write. I have sang for most of my life and actually have a song being released called FORWARD.
