M&D All Natural started when my mom the M in M&D was looking for something to assist with her weight loss. What she found was sea moss gel; and she loves it. The benefits that sea moss has on the body is amazing. It has 92 out of 102 minerals that we need for our body to function properly. It assists with immune boosting, digestive system, thyroid, blood sugar, weight loss, metabolism, libido, and so much more. One benefit in particular is assisting with inflammation, and that’s where the D in M&D comes in. I have sciatic endometriosis and I deal with a lot of flare-ups. My mom suggested sea moss to me to help with the inflammation. That was one of the best decisions I ever made. My mother and I realized that some people knew about sea moss and had bad experiences with it; some didn’t know anything about it at all and others loved it. We had a goal to reach all of those people one jar at a time. We created something that was made for everyone in mind. We know that sometimes people’s taste buds and healthy things don’t get along lol, so we researched and found different herbs and fruits that benefit the body and created delicious and healthy Sea Moss Gel. We didn’t stop there though. We expanded our all natural line and created a sea moss lemonade and skin care products as well.

We don’t believe any dream is going to have a smooth road. Our journey has had some potholes in it. It is especially difficult to have people hear you out when it’s something new they are being introduced to, or especially the ones who have tried it and had bad experiences. They are skeptical, scared and believe it or not traumatized. Nonetheless, we communicate with each person to understand where they stand with sea moss and provide them our why, the education they need to understand the benefits and differences in real and artificial sea moss and allow them to try it and see it can be healthy and tasty.

My mother and I are a duo that specializes in things that we love. We have created an empire to provide generational wealth and financial freedom. We are travel agents (M&D Travel and Events, my mother is a tax accountant (Dartanya Tax Services) and we love sea moss (M&D All Natural) and that is M&D Empire. We are equally proud of all of our businesses because each one provides services to different people to either bring an experience of a lifetime, assist you with becoming a healthier you or to provide financial literacy. I believe that the true genuine, loving and caring relationship that my mother and I have for not only one another but for our customers sets us apart. We truly want to help our community to understand that we can be healthy, financially stable and able to travel the world.

Being an entrepreneur definitely comes with being a risk taker. Nonetheless, how you overcome those risk is the key to a successful business. Our first risk was making the decision to go out and provide the knowledge of sea moss, financial literacy, and travel expertise to our community. We had to figure out how to set our business apart from others. We learned that being a walking testimony was our difference. People love hearing our story of why. Some can relate to us or even other stories of people that we know. For example, with sea moss, my late grandfather started sea moss two years before he passed. When he started, he was taking 24 medications a day and before he passed he was down to 10. He was more energetic, willing to travel and experience life. Other risk we have taken was introducing different flavors to our customers such as our Golden Boost. Our Golden Boost is made of sea moss, soursop, spring water, turmeric, fresh squeezed lemon and orange juice, and agave nectar. With introducing new flavors, you not only have to worry about texture but making sure it’s tasty too. However, it turned out to be one of our most popular flavors. We feel that you can’t allow the fear of taking risk to dictate how you conduct your business. *If we did, we wouldn’t have been able to educate and assist so many in our community.
