Today we’d like to introduce you to DJ Trap Fairy Princess.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Well for starters the majority of my lineage was/is in the entertainment business.’ I grew up around music in every aspect whether that’s the recording studio, being around live music, or even the business side. As a kid I danced all the way up to a collegiate level at Clark Atlanta University. This time last year at CAU I decided that it’s time to take my passion for music seriously. I just told myself “let’s see what You can do”
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I don’t think any ride is meant to be smooth but I really have enjoyed and learned so much from this journey.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m most proud of being a featured DJ for the World Athletics Championships in Eugene Oregon last summer. I got to DJ at the University of Oregon’s stadium, I was broadcasted globally, and Travis Scott was in the audience. I specialize in creating an experience really. As a DJ I think the best way to go into any booking is to treat it like a show. I think what sets me apart from others is that I treat the music and the overall energy of the room as on opportunity to meet the crowd where they are and let’s take it up.
What matters most to you?
My family is my entire world. They’re really the people who give me the confidence to keep pushing.
