Conversations with Dominic (Nikko) Jones

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dominic (Nikko) Jones.

Hi Nikko, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always been someone who looks at life as a chance to build — not just for myself, but for others who might find inspiration in my story. My journey started in network engineering, but it didn’t stop there. I wanted to take that same problem-solving mindset and apply it to passions that fueled me.

That’s where content creation came in. Fashion, storytelling, humor — these became tools for building something greater: a digital marketing business that allows me to connect with people in real ways. Alongside that, I began investing in real estate and creating rental spaces where guests can feel at home.

For me, all of this connects to a bigger vision I call Elevate — the idea of building a lifestyle and business ecosystem where creativity, strategy, and ownership meet. I want people to see that you don’t have to be limited to one lane. You can engineer your life the way you engineer a network: with intention, creativity, and purpose.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the biggest challenges has been balancing everything. I’m actively running my businesses while still working full-time as a network engineer, and at times it feels like I’m building two careers at once. On top of that, I’ve had to put real money into equipment, renovations, and marketing before the returns were consistent — it’s an investment that takes patience and vision.

On the content side, I’ve also had to learn how to stay consistent when algorithms change or when a post doesn’t land the way I expected. It can be discouraging, but those moments taught me that discipline and adaptability matter more than instant numbers.

For me, the struggles aren’t roadblocks — they’re part of the process of building Elevate into a full ecosystem of media, marketing, and real estate. Every step, even the hard ones, pushes me closer to that vision.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Right now, I’m actively building a business that blends digital media, marketing, and real estate under my larger vision of Elevate. On one side, I create content — fashion, lifestyle, and storytelling — that I use as a foundation for a digital marketing brand. It’s not just about looking good on camera, it’s about showing how style, creativity, and strategy can connect with people and move culture forward.

At the same time, I run a rental property business where I focus on creating smart, modern, and secure spaces that feel like home. For me, it’s not just real estate — it’s hospitality and presentation, giving people an experience that matches the vision of Elevate.

What I’m most proud of is how I’ve been able to take different parts of myself — the engineer, the creator, the entrepreneur — and merge them into something unique. What sets me apart is that I’m not building businesses in separate boxes. Everything ties back to a bigger system, a lifestyle brand where tech, style, and ownership all come together. That’s the blueprint I’m creating, and it’s what keeps me excited about the work every single day.

Any big plans?
Looking ahead, my focus is on continuing to build out Elevate as a full ecosystem. That means formally establishing my LLCs, expanding my digital media and marketing work, and scaling my property business to reach more clients and guests.

On the content side, I’m looking forward to creating more value-driven fashion and lifestyle content — not just visuals, but tips, stories, and collaborations that position Elevate as both creative and strategic. With the rental business, I’m planning to add more properties and create even stronger systems that make each space smarter, safer, and more memorable for guests.

The big picture is ownership and legacy. I want Elevate to stand as proof that you can merge creativity, entrepreneurship, and vision into something lasting. Every step I’m taking now is about laying the foundation for that bigger impact.
