Conversations with Elicia Walls

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elicia Walls.

Elicia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
At the end of 2019, I found myself having this almost existential crisis.

I really sat down with myself and the life I was living. I was partying every weekend, smoking daily, i was in a situationship that was going nowhere, falling out with people I loved, and slowly wasting my potential. After losing my mother unexpectedly at 18, I lost my drive. She was the battery in my back. Without her, and without real support from my father, I fell into emotional dependency, I lost myself.

That whirlwind moment of reflection forced me to ask the first real question of my life:
 Who am I, really?

This sparked my awakening. That awakening showed me so much I didn’t know about the world and myself. It was like Neo’s follow the white rabbit moment. The more I searched the more unfolded for me.

It wasn’t until I experienced energy healing and kundalini activation that I found that thing that called to my spirit louder than anything else.

In one embodied moment of surrender, I experienced more clarity than I had in years of searching.

That moment changed the trajectory of my life. I got up knowing without question I needed to be able to give people this experience I’d had.

And that’s the work I now offer.
I help women who feel disconnected from themselves reconnect to their power. Women who have lost their drive rediscover purpose. Women who are spiritually curious learn how to integrate that wisdom into real life.

I show women how to make permanent shifts in the quality of their lives.

Journey to samadhi was created as a compilation of the initiations I was ushered through.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Devotion often requires sacrifice. My path has been one to push out of my comfort zone, it has challenged me mentally, financially, emotionally, spiritually in ways I couldn’t otherwise imagine I would be capable of withstanding.

The path of kundalini is an unraveling, a journey of unlearning. This path strips away all you think you are to remind you of your truth, who you are at your core.

I have faced homelessness, the death of my mother, I have struggled with my mental health so much so to the point of hospitalization. I have lost friends, I have had to look at and examine myself with a fine tooth comb, dissolving some hard truths. But the reward, the expansion, the remembrance, the love, the joy, the beauty, the connection I feel to myself, to the divine, to the world around is such a fulfilling reward when put into perspective I would do it again and again.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Journey to Samadhi exists to bridge ancient wisdom traditions with modern, real-world application, supporting individuals in integrating spirituality, emotional intelligence, nervous system regulation, and purpose-driven living into everyday life.

Samadhi is a term from yogic philosophy that refers to a state of deep integration where the mind, body, and spirit move in harmony, and clarity replaces fragmentation. At Journey to Samadhi, we understand samadhi not as an abstract or permanent state, but as a lived practice of alignment, presence, and inner coherence. Our work is devoted to supporting individuals in cultivating this integration through embodied wisdom, ethical self-mastery, and practical spiritual tools, so that insight is not only experienced, but sustainably lived in daily life, leadership, and service.

My work is rooted in yogic philosophy, meditation science, somatic integration, archetypal psychology, and ancestral wisdom traditions, with a strong emphasis on embodiment and nervous system health.

Journey to Samadhi offers:

– Customized spiritual mentorship

– Rites of Passage and initiatory programs

– Kundalini Energy healing and embodiment work

– Retreats and immersive experiences

-Educational pathways: Energy Healing Certification, Archetypal Medicine, Emotional Regulation, Etc.

What sets me apart is that my work and anything I offer is a creation from my own experience. I am immensely passionate and my work because it saved my life and I believe in order to offer others the same opportunity I can only do so if what I offer I understand as deeply and embodied as possible.

I stand on the core principles of integrity, honesty, truth, and universal love. My offerings are also rooted in the enlightenment traditions. All of my offerings were created in an ascending nature. Meaning the goal of them is to elevate my community, to raise the consciousness of those I work with.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I absolutely consider myself a risk taker. I quit my last matrix job in 2022 and have not gone back, regardless of the cost.

The first retreat I attended, where I had my first experience with energy work (the moment I realized this is what I felt called to do), I traveled alone to a place I had never been before: Atlanta, with a group of people I didn’t know.

A year later, I moved away from my family to live with three people I didn’t know very well because the land called me.

Those risks turned out to be some of the best choices I’ve ever made. They felt like quantum leaps in my spiritual journey.

Take chances, because it’s easier to live with disappointment than it is to live with regret
