Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica Pierce.
Hi Erica, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started sharing content more consistently around the time I had my son. More so around the time, I went back to work. I didn’t see a lot of people like me that were full-time working and stay-at-home parents. Being a parent that works makes it really hard to keep the house clean, up to date with laundry, and just generally have the energy to do anything else. So I wanted to be the person that said hey, it’s okay you’re already doing enough.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road but I think I’ve created a small community of people that relate. I’ve had people comment they think my life is boring or how I should feed my child but I let it slide off cause I don’t have time to feed into people that have all of this extra time to be rude.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a mom content creator. I think what sets me apart from others is how honest and real I am. I don’t have the fancy lights or the aesthetic house but I do what works for me and my family. It’s a little chaotic, I don’t look like other moms, but I’m a real person that shares an affordable and realistic lifestyle.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I’d love to find one! Still in the process, haha.
