Today we’d like to introduce you to Everett McCauley.
Hi Everett, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Everett McCauley I’m the owner of Infinity Grooming Loft located in Atlanta old fourth ward and my career has succeeded three decades as a professional barber/entrepreneur from Newark Nj to Atlanta Georgia. My entire career has been dedicated to serving my clients and my community by providing mentorship assistance to our local middle schools and high schools to feeding the homeless along with grooming services . I recently began my ministry on a collegiate level by providing free haircut services to graduates in return for their story. Mentoring grades 6-12 I realized that most adolescent in our urban communities wasn’t exposed to the multitude of occupations that exist , after taking in the data I realized that the majority of our children want to become professional athletes, rappers, content creators, streamers and barbers. My initiative was to create a big brother program for a day by ask the senior participants to take a few minutes to pore into our middle school and high school guest for insight on the possibilities of exploring other occupations. I appreciate your time and your consideration in reaching out for this amazing opportunity as a candidate I have an amazing story from trails to triumphs. I’m just a kid from Brick city New Jersey who had a passion and love for humanity.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One by biggest obstacle was getting over the death of my son Jaleel Everett McCauley who was tragically killed by a drunk driver in 2019 . My greatest challenge was dealing with the loss 2years into my transition to Atlanta where my wife and I didn’t know anyone. There were times when I thought I made the wrong decision and wanted to leave and I know that wasn’t and option I put it all in Gods hand because I knew he had a plan and here we are 10years later.
