Conversations with Francesca Watson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Francesca Watson.

Hi Francesca, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am a self-taught fashion designer, model and event producer. I am originally from Florida but relocated to the Atlanta area in 2021. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always been fashion and beauty obsessed. I started designing clothing in 2014. Since then I have single-handedly produced 6 fashion productions, my work has been published more than 43 times & I have worked with countless celebrities and influencers.

The name of my brand is called Fancy By Francesca Watson & my event productions are called Deck The Runway – (A holiday fashion event for emerging designers) & The Fancy Fashion Frenzy (A kids & Teens Fashion event)

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being an entrepreneur is far from a smooth road, and I think that you just have to know that while pursuing your goals. You have to know that you’ll have good days, bad days, good weeks, bad months. It really comes down to how bad you want to achieve your goals. For me personally, I’d say that some struggles are finding people that you trust in the industry that are honest and follow through on what they say they will do. It’s easy as a new artist to get taken advantage of or ripped off so just be sure to do your research and get everything in black and white.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My work has been featured on celebrities like Tiffany Pollard, Olga Loera, Nivea, Alyssa Raghu, Anais & Mirabelle Lee, Golden Brooks, Mariahlynn Lyrica Anderson, Jillisa Lynn, Nannette Hammond, India Gants and many more. You can see my work featured on music videos of Mariahlynn’s “Wanna”, YFN Lucci ft Off Set “Boss Life” & Quincy’s Aye Yo.

I am also known for my yearly fashion events that people look forward to every year. What sets me apart from others is thinking outside the box, and being innovative with my ideas.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
