Today we’d like to introduce you to Golden Habits.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We all met in Atlanta, Georgia and all had a passion for music on our own but never had friends who has that same passion. Every time we hung out, we would just jam out and come up with at least three brand-new songs. Everything came so naturally and it was effortless creation.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Diego, our drummer, currently resides in Lima, Peru. He comes to town every few months and when he is here, we have to get as many songs recorded as possible and try to book as many shows as we can. The plan is to get him here to stay the next time he comes around December this year. Fingers crossed!
Another challenge would be finding the time outside of our work schedules to prioritize the band. As most people know, being an artist is not the easiest thing to make a career out of, so we all have our day jobs and work as hard as we can as a team to make and play the music we think the world deserves to hear.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
It all started in 2022 when a new friend came to town, he shared the same musical interests as us, so one day we decided to grab the instruments and do some electricity, as soon as we started we felt that there was that connection, that feeling of being the four in the same tune, that’s where we realized we should be a band. This is how Golden Habits was born. We are now focused on the release of our new single ´Forever´ which will be available this April 28th. This new song deals with a situation where you can’t get something out of your head and that you’ve done wrong. This April 28th, you will understand the story!
