Today we’d like to introduce you to Inbar Freiman.
Hi Inbar, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
As my mother was an interior designer, art and design have always had a large influence in my life. It is a significant component of who I am, as I have devoted myself and career to my bridal brand, living and breathing design.
I attended Shenkar College of Fashion Desing in Tel Aviv, where I had the opportunity to dive deeper into the world of bridal design. My studies specialized in wedding gowns, reinforcing my love for quality, elegant and detailed pieces. Organic architecture and modern ceramic art heavily influence my gowns, creating unique pieces that flatter the feminine form. Every gown is handmade with the finest fabrics, emphasizing my signature style, luxury detailed handwork and bohemian romance.
Establishing my own bridal brand in 2015, Inbar Freiman, allowed me to express my artisanship and design within wearable mediums. Together, my husband and I work together to ensure the business runs smoothly, making every bride look and feel their absolute best and always treating every customer and employee like family.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
While building my brand, I have been devoted to remaining true to my personal style and artisanship. Not only is it difficult to achieve recognition within the bridal industry, but you must do so without compromising your values. My unique and natural aesthetic represents my signature style, but also everything I embody as a person. It is important to me that brides I work with have the opportunity to connect and fall in love with my designs as it represents a pivotal moment in their lives. My goal is that each bride feels like the best extension of themselves when in one of gowns. That brings my joy and makes the time, effort, and detail into each gown worth it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Inbar Freiman specializes in bridal garments exclusively, dedicated to the production of high-end, unique gowns. Special attention is paid to quality and design, evident in the use of luxurious materials, flattering cuts, and detailed handwork.
I create gowns that align closely with my personal style, best described as “natural elegance.” This has generated a lot of buzz: we are now known in the bridal industry for distinct designs that feature architectural influences and beautiful textures combined in innovative ways. Although it has been difficult to stay true to my vision in an industry dominated by trends and massive designers, it is a source of pride for me to create bridal collections independent of what has already been done. I want to appeal to women who see themselves as trendsetters and who want to feel effortlessly cool and confident on their wedding day. Inbar Freiman stands out because I design for the woman wearing the dress, not the design itself, with special attention to the cut and shapes of the figure, comfort and movement. Together, these considerations combine meticulous craftsmanship with the elegant nonchalance of a confident, romantic bride who is free to move and dance without worry.
What does success mean to you?
To me, success is the joy I feel every morning when I wake up and go to work doing what I love. It’s an absolute pleasure to work in this industry, and as a designer, there is no other alternative. Growing up in a creative family, I learned to appreciate the value of design, witnessing firsthand the joy that a love for creation and art brings to life. I am incredibly appreciative to have learned this and to be able to pursue my dream career as a designer. One of the most important lessons my mother taught me is to do what I love and love what I do, with no exceptions. I’ll be forever grateful for that advice.
