Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaiah Mitchell-Edge.
Isaiah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My entrepreneurial journey started back in 2019 when my mom encouraged me to use my free time to create something profitable and purposeful which spurred the birth of my company, Peace of Mind. From that one moment branched many ventures full of fruits and failures, lots of experiences and memories made. I’m 20 years old and a young author, businessman, content creator, entrepreneur, mentor, and so much more. The best part of all this is that this is only the beginning and I’ve got so far to go!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has absolutely NOT been a smooth road. From learning business management, how to build websites, managing money and earnings, marketing, and being both employer and employee, the journey has been anything but easy. However, I can never say what I’ve been through wasn’t worth it l because I know the benefits and success I’ve seen and will see are worth the sacrifice.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My all time specialty is creative design, building, craftsmanship, and artwork. My favorite means of channeling this part of who I am is through my clothing designs, artwork and building with tools, and textures like metal, wood, and even Lego! I’m most proud of my children’s book “The Soul of my Feet”. It’s a book based off of my real life experience in taking ownership of my choices, who I am, and who I want to be and teaches the reader how to do the same through the example of the stories main character, Wayne.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Loving Jesus Christ, my Fiancé, and my family make me happy. The most joy I’ve ever experienced I’ve experienced with the people I just mentioned and I am extremely grateful to live this life and have them in it.
