Today we’d like to introduce you to Jackie Saland.
Jackie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started as an actress in Chicago, with lots of downtime on set and loved social media and Instagram so started “blogging.”
Fell in love with a man behind the camera, became a mom, moved to Georgia and being an “Influencer” has become my full-time job.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Saying no! So many brands want to work with me as I’ve grown and if I don’t believe or like the product and or wouldn’t recommend it to my best friend, I’m not going to promote no matter how much they are willing to pay me because my followers trust me. And I don’t want to break that bond.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an Instagram Influencer and SAHM (stay-at-home mom) so my work reflects my everyday life of motherhood, meals, homemaking and decor.
I keep it fun and real. We have two pups and try to live each day to the fullest.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Being an Influencer requires a lot of just putting yourself out there. I connect most with my followers when I’m vulnerable. I had a second-trimester miscarriage in 2020 and shared my story and grief journey to my platform and connected with so many wonderful souls who were struggling with pregnancy.
