Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Pingul.
Hi Jacqueline, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My mission on this earth is to harmonize wellness, one melody at a time.
Where therapy isn’t always accessible, music can be — and like many people, it saved me from some devastating choices.
I grew up navigating trauma pretty early. Before I learned how to alchemize rage into song, I was just another lost soul trying to survive without the right tools.
Choir was my refuge. I took it so seriously — it was the one place I felt seen. I was even awarded a vocal scholarship because my teachers recognized how dedicated I was. I honestly had no idea I was that good.
But eventually, troubles at home made it impossible for me to see it through. Losing that outlet — among many other things — hardened me. I grew into a bitter version of myself.
And at some point, I realized I didn’t want to keep hurting the people I loved. So I went looking for something that could soften me instead.
Yoga saved me. Those deep breaths and slow movements taught me how to exist inside my body safely. That curiosity led me to study Ayurveda — the science of life — and for the first time, I felt like I had actual tools for my mind, body, and spirit.
Naturally, that healing started bleeding into my music.
Once I grounded into who I really was, it only made sense to lead with Jacqueline Denisse – my full first name. No masks. No alter egos. Just me.
In 2022, I released my first single, Good Vibrations, on my 30th birthday. It was about overcoming your demons in triggered moments. In 2023, I followed it with my EP Emanate, which really documents the dark inward journey it took to find my light.
And when I found it? I shined differently.
That alignment pulled me to Atlanta — I didn’t fully know why, but I knew I was being called to grow.
I realized something while performing: my songs can stir up deep emotions. So I didn’t want to sell merch that would fade. I wanted to create something people could take home and heal with. Something that felt like a hug.
That’s how RxMelodies was born — remedies and melodies. Ayurvedic-inspired self-care products paired with my music.
It’s all one ecosystem. My art isn’t separate from my healing practice. It’s the same heartbeat.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The most persistent struggle has been self-worth. That little inner gremlin whispering, Do I really have what it takes? Do I even deserve this?
I grew up in a large immigrant family shaped by generational trauma. As the middle child of thirteen — lucky number seven — I often felt culturally isolated, misunderstood, and unseen. That environment built armor. Armor that helped me survive, but didn’t necessarily help me love.
Healing required me to soften. Forgiveness without closure. Boundaries. Accountability for the ways I was perpetuating pain, too.
There have been seasons that shook me to my core, seasons where I came face to face with how fragile this life really is. Close enough to understand that breath is not guaranteed. But every time, I’ve returned to my breath. To my music. To my practice.
And this isn’t about toxic positivity. It’s not about pretending everything is beautiful or choosing to ignore what hurts. It’s about making the kind of choices that can actually lead to a good life.
There are days the old version of me still wants to crash out. Still wants to let the armor take over.
But peace is more valuable to me now.
So I choose it — again and again.
Atlanta has been far from easy — but it has been deeply rewarding. There were moments I looked up and asked God, Why did you call me here? And what I felt in response was simple: This is where your light is needed most.
So I continue forward.
I’m not at the finish line.
But I’m tending to the garden that’s unfolding — trusting it’s growing exactly as it should.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a multi-faceted human first. A real down-to-Mars girl.
I’m a singer-songwriter with a soulful sound — my guitar gently weeping for the unapologetic lover girl within. My music lives somewhere between soul and alternative R&B, grounded in emotional honesty that doesn’t flinch. Layer in an Ayurvedic practitioner, a sprinkle of yoga teacher, and top it off with a full mental alchemist.
I’ve been told to pick a lane—choose music, choose wellness, choose a genre. But why would I reduce myself?
What sets me apart is integration. My art and my healing practice are not separate—they inform each other.
Every lyric is intentional -each word handpicked to deliver bouquets of my life story in every song. Every product I create under RxMelodies is rooted in Ayurvedic philosophy. Every performance carries the energy of someone who has done deep internal work.
I may be perceived as spiritual, but I’m grounded in the reality of the darkness that shaped me. I move through genre the way I move through life — layered, unconfined, and unwilling to fragment myself.
In a world full of incredible creatives, my advantage is simple:
No one else is me—and I am fully committed to honoring that.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I love collaborating.
I co-host an open mic in East Atlanta Village at Buteco, and I’m always excited to connect with musicians who want to elevate the live experience with me. I’m currently expanding my live sound beyond just me and my guitar — so if you play, produce, arrange, manage, book, or want to build something intentional with me, let’s talk.
I’m also in a collaborative era creatively — experimenting with unexpected genres and pushing my boundaries. If you’re someone who likes to get weird in the best way, I’m open.
Beyond music, you can book me for Ayurvedic coaching, yoga sessions, or wellness-centered workshops. I love working with people who want to integrate creativity and healing into their everyday lives.
If you want to support the journey — whether as a listener, collaborator, or client:
