Today we’d like to introduce you to Jazmin Escobar.
Hi Jazmin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Well I am Jazmin, also known as Esco. From Brooklyn NY. Finished school in Richmond VA in 2018 @ 16 and started college August 2019 and only was able to finish one semester. Reason for that is because someone went to my Dean and showed my Instagram and the link I have in my bio, which was IsMyGirl. A platform to where I sell pictures and videos of myself, which they obviously didn’t tolerate on their “ Baptist “ campus. My academic scholarship was token away and I moved to Cali in February 2020. I was 18. Started dancing in North Hills, life started to be pretty great. I was dancing for a couple of months, just saving my bread, knowing I wanted to do something with my money to make more but not know what in the world I was going to do. I did know I was going to do something though. I was on ismygirl heavy, dropping content every week just racking up. Being that I was doing content, I found myself buying tons of sex toys. Just spending money on material and I thought to find them in bulks for cheaper. Then bing go, no one sells fucking sex toys!!!! August 2020, I dropped my sex toy line. Rest of 2020 just dancing, selling toys, modeling. Just making sure I’m being consistent, still till this day being consistent.
December 2020, I got my LLC for my Creative Direction Business called “The Esco Effect LLC”. The Esco Effect is where I am putting the theme of a photoshoot, video shoot, commercial, album cover, etc. I put together the outfit, how the make up is going to be, how the hair is going to be worn, which angles to picture is going to shot, what props are going to be in the visual. Now I’m not 100% sure if creative direction is the word but I know the two words describes what I do perfectly. I also use the word production. In January 2021, I hosted my first power shoot in Richmond and that was very nerve recking but also was exciting and came out exactly how I wanted it to. I had about four models come through. Some from the city, Richmond and on Instagram. I ordered all of their clothes all the props, payed for the location, payed the photographer and just created. I love creating a vision. Any that comes to my head. For myself and others that I feel wants to be in the field of modeling different things and just wants to experience it for the f of it. I love the working side and the fun side. I continued shooting with girls different girls. In Richmond, because it was easier for me. I definitely soon branch out to Atlanta, Miami, and Los Angeles. Now it’s 2022, I’ve now done three power shoots, I work with about eight models consistently now and I still love what I do.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I can say that it has been 50/50. Smooth because I pray to Jehovah, I feel I have a calm and cool personality. I’ve worked on not stressing a lot that I can’t control and just praying and writing about it. Struggles would definitely be stability as far as me moving soon many places in a short amount of time. Unexpectedly most of the time but make it through every time. I’m grateful of every lesson.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I don’t really remember.
