Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Jaeger.
Hi Jeremy, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Back in 2020, it began with simply selling photographs on canvases. Before launching, von.toussaint, photography and videography was more a hobby since I was a child growing up in the Bronx traveling all the way to the urban Tokyo jungle. Photos filled with color, people, architecture, and moments from around the world. My mother, Ms.Rena, wanted to push along the business further and we created the LLC in Georgia. With so much content on hand, it was the best way to begin protecting the business and growing it further. With Ms. Rena at the forefront of the office side of things, I was able to lean into creativity building, client consulting and design. From capturing weddings all the way to creating music videos in the heart of New Orleans. Pushing and creating content has amassed us launching sub-divisions within the company with the use of our designs into home decor and eye-catching apparel. The idea is to grow and each year the company has had growth. Additionally, we are in search of fellow creatives and investors to induce the portfolio as we enter the NFT community, produce a documentary featuring footage from the Equal Rights protests, film production and more.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all! Being a Black creative is hard in itself. Working with various artists and reality personalities has definitely expounded my thoughts on what is difficult and what isn’t. From the professional life into the social scene itself it can be an overwhelming feat but in the end, when results are shown the hardships are usually skipped over. For creatives, and speaking for myself, mental health needs to be a cause of concern. Keeping up with the Jones’s certainly is! Having to have updated software, lighting, camera equipment, sound equipment, and etc. isn’t a thought for potential clients, but you must have them. It is about finding clients who want to support your growth, the ones that do not, you can’t waste time with. It’s just the nature of this ATL game.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Almost two years in the making we are currently set to open our studio for customers who want a space filled with over 10 different sets including nature/outdoor filming areas, graffiti/glow in the dark sets, and more. Being a person who has watched music videos and movies since the dawn of the 90s, it is the ultimate goal to remain and create an imaginary template for artists alike to create content and a sense of unity at our studio. Working with anyone and everyone is something that, unfortunately, some can’t do, but for me, everyone has a story. Even if it’s an alleged “bad” one, you just may need a little magic thrown on top.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Honesty and openness. When we hear how people were comfortable and were able to be themselves, that usually means there will be a great product.
Pricing:
- Pricing is dependent on the project. Bu for instance an Instagram reel full design can be as low as $150 and a music video as high as $5000. It depends on the set ups, how long the crew will have to attend and more. We have a market for every creator.
