Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Lauren.
Jessica , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve appreciated style and fashion since I was a little girl. Toward the end of my high school career, I started thinking about what I wanted to study and I decided on marketing. As I went further in my college career and accumulated internship experiences, I determined that I was really interested in pursuing fashion or sports in some aspect with marketing.
When I entered my last semester of college I came home to Mobile, AL to complete my classes online. I started working with Mobile Fashion Week, ended up styling models for one of the designers, and the rest is history. A few years later I moved to New Orleans and my styling business, Styled by Jessica Lauren really took off during my time there.
Since this time I’ve also expanded my brand to podcasting, Style and Conversation. Covering topics regarding style, faith, relationships, entrepreneurship, health, and so much more!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth ride, but it has been rewarding. Some of the challenges were facing discrimination when attempting to do studio pulls, but I was fortunate enough that for every business that chose not to work with me, there were many other businesses that did want to!

I’m the fashion and wardrobe stylist behind Styled by Jessica Lauren. I specialize in helping women boost their confidence by discovering their personal style! I’m passionate about helping ladies build their style inside their closets first and then exploring the pieces they need.
I’m also the podcast host of Style and Conversation, an extension of my style brand.
Any big plans?
I do have some exciting plans for the future to make style more accessible for the everyday woman. Stay tuned and follow along!
