Today we’d like to introduce you to Kailey Hood.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hello my name is Kailey Hood I’m also known as Kalling Plays With Kailey. Growing up, l’ve always had a big heart for sports and I always loved basketball. I grew up watching Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Ron Artest and many more players as a kid. As I grew older, my love for sports got even deeper. I started watching a bunch of games and I started posting and discussing about the games. I would debate with alt of people about particular games especially my favorite team in the whole wide world the Atlanta hawks. A couple of years later i was introduced to the podcasting world, it was brought to my attention by many many people. In 2019 is when i really decided to take this new chapter in life, this process was not easy at all. This did not happen over night it took me a whole year to figure everything out! August 28,2020 was the day i started Kalling plays with Kailey, my first episode was not the best but it made me happy to finally see myself doing something that i really love. This journey has been very beautiful I’ve been blessed with alot of opportunities, I’ve met wonderful people and I’m just blessed that I’ve took this route.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a multi-content sports creator. I have a podcast called Kalling Plays With Kailey and I interview people from all over. I also talk about sports to give my thoughts and opinions with different things going on in the NBA.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Persistence is extremely important to me because every successful individual has experienced failure more than time.
