Today we’d like to introduce you to Ke Love.
Hi Ke, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Oh wow, where do I begin. Lol. I’ve always wanted to be an actor but of course, life happened and after the military, I worked a regular job. Facebook was a way to connect with all of my fellow shipmates around the world. I started seeing funny videos on Facebook and started posting my own and man, it soared. Landing me over 144k followers. That motivated me to continue making content. I moved those followers to TikTok. I remember when I made my first TikTok. It was trash😂 I’m serious; it was horrible. But hey, after continuing to perfect my craft landed me over 144k followers on TikTok as well. I moved to Atlanta to pursue my acting career because it always been my dream to work for Tyler perry. Since I’ve been in Atlanta, I started acting classes at Mann Robinson Studios and Nick Conti Acting studio to sharpen my skills.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Hardship is inevitable when you’re going against the grain and pursuing a life of creative autonomy and making that your livelihood. One devastating moment when I was starting out as an actress, I had a horrible motorcycle accident which was a setback for a major comeback. After I healed, I packed my car and moved to ATL to start my acting career.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an Actress/Content creator. I produce work on a variety of platforms including social media, blogs, podcasts, video platforms, and more.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Hmmm, define success? Becoming a professional actor can be incredibly hard, actors have to deal with a lot of rejection. But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. I believe if you continue to be hardworking, dedicated to learning and persistent enough; it is definitely possible to become a professional actor. Success will definitely mean different things to different people. While you may not have achieved your ultimate goal, you can still consider yourself successful at different stages if you are accomplishing intermediate goals on the road to your ultimate success goal. For me as an actor, my ultimate goal is to become a professional actress get on the acting ladder and become an A-lister.
