Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristin Pettus.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my journey in event design and planning in 2014 by doing just invitations and small centerpieces. I wanted to do more and be able to make and impact in people’s lives who I encounter so I became more interested in designing events and life celebrations. I started off with my own planning my own wedding and it went from there. The love for event design continued to grow within me. I started working with artificial floral but I wanted to learn more and was very intrigued by fresh floral arrangements. I found Atosha Barboza Bennett of Behind the Veil Academy/Larger than life events and designs through one of her social media posts where she was selling some items and decided to purchase some items. She is in Savannah so I sent my mother who lives in Savannah to go and pick up my items.
My mom called me on FaceTime while there with Atosha and we spoke and laughed for a while like we already knew each other. She told me about her academy and ironically, she had a class coming up. With the blessing of another student who was able to attend, I was able to purchase my ticket and attend my 1st class with her in Columbia, SC. That class was life-changing for me. I already had part of the ideas or starting of what to do but she definitely laid the foundations and guidance to get me to where I am today. I have since then done more classes with her and even worked real events with her on occasion. I have taken that foundation that her and God instilled within and allowed it to flourish into what EnChanted Creations & Designs is today. We strive to make sure every celebration and event is a memorable one for years to come.
We travel not only throughout the middle Georgia area to provide these services but surrounding areas and cities as well.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
With the help of God, I haven’t really had many struggles. Covid did set is back as far as doing events because throughout that time no one could have anything. Everything was being canceled but with the grace of God, we were able to stay afloat throughout that time.

At EnChanted Creations & Designs we are known for providing elegant memorable events to each one of our clients. We provide the best customer service interaction with our clients and ensure we are available throughout the planning process as well as the day of each client’s event. I strive to not only meet each client’s expectations but to overly exceed their expectations and make a lasting memorable moment.
We provide full event floral and design services for any event small or big. We plan and design for children’s parties, bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, and more. Anything you can think of to celebrate, we can design it for our client.
I am most proud of the fact that this industry of very saturated with many talented event designs providing many aspects of event design and we are able to still succeed and grow throughout it all. I have made a positive name for for my business and I strive every day to become even better and better. Each one of my clients are not just client to me many of them become family to me. Without them having full trust within my God-given talent and bringing their dreams to life this business wouldn’t be where it is today.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy is seeing others happy. Being able to make others happy through he gift that God has instilled in me. To see that little seed of thought that God placed in my mind and spirit that one day grow into what it is today. I couldn’t of done any of it without God and my family and friends support and pushing me, especially my mother Barbara Whipple-Clark.
What makes me even more happy is being with my 3 beautiful children and family and making as many memories as possible.
