Today we’d like to introduce you to Lenora Bailey.

Hi Lenora, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey into the hair industry began long before I ever thought about becoming a natural hair stylist. It started in my childhood- growing up as youngest of six – two brother and four girls and the girls were raised that natural hair was not only accepted but expected.

My father believe strongly the the women he raised should wear their hair in its natural state. Due to his standards my self awarness foundation was created and embracing my hair was not a challenge but just who I am. I didnt just wear my hair. I learned from it.

In essence my foundation developed in not only my profession but, my purpose in life. Hence the creation of N2bnatural which is my vehicle in helping people find their way to embrace their natural state.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My path as a natural hair stylist has actually been a smooth one, because my confidence never allowed me to see anything negative about myself as a person and or my hair.

A little frustrations here and there and that would be influencing my clients in building the same confidence and guiding them to their natural beauty the way I see it in them.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a certified natural stylist. I specialize in locs and natural state of hair, with a strong focus on maintaining the health and intergrity of your hair via you wellness.

I am known for incorporating wellness in hair care as the two really has to be intertwind for you to began a great path in obtaining a healthy crown. I believe hair is the reflection of what is happening inside the body so I approach my services from a holistic perspective first before I involve society based products in routine of my clients journeys.

I am the most proud of the foundation that I was raised with, which provided me the knowledge I have to perform my purpose. I am also proud of being a person of good spirit which has allowed my clients trust and respect as they are guided to trust the process of appreciating their natural state and become mindful of their overall wellness, Seeing their transformations is so enjoyable.

Any big plans?
My future plans include owning my own salon building and creating a space where stylists can rent booths and grow their own businesses. It will be a major step and a big change for me, but I’m prepared and excited for the challenge. I see it as the next level of growth- not just for me , but for the community and professional. I will be able to surpport.
