Hi Lesley, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story in the beauty industry began in 2015, when I first stepped into esthetics school with a dream of helping people look and feel their best. I was fascinated by the way beauty could boost confidence and empower someone to see themselves in a new light. After earning my license, I found myself drawn to the artistry of eyelash styling — it was creative, detailed, and instantly transformative. That passion led me to launch my first business, Coco’s Haus of Esthetics (formerly Sovereign Lashes) in 2018. I built a loyal community of clients who trusted me not only for their lashes but for the care and intention I put into every service.
As I grew in my craft, I started to notice a common thread among my clients — so many were struggling with their skin and didn’t know where to start. I realized that beauty was more than just enhancement; it was about understanding and nurturing what’s underneath. That realization shifted everything for me. I wanted to offer more than temporary results — I wanted to help people achieve long-term, healthy, glowing skin.
What started as a lash business evolved into an esthetics spa rooted in education, results, and genuine care. Coco’s Haus became a space where clients could not only relax and renew but also learn about their skin and feel empowered to care for it confidently.
Every chapter of this journey — from lash extensions to advanced skincare — has taught me the importance of connection, consistency, and compassion. Coco’s Haus of Esthetics isn’t just about treatments; it’s about uplifting individuals by offering personalized skincare solutions that promote self-confidence and enable them to perform at their highest potential.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
When I first started, I was learning how to balance everything — building a clientele, managing the business side, and continuing my education to grow as an esthetician. There were moments of self-doubt, especially in the early years, when things moved slower than I hoped or when I questioned whether I was doing enough.
Transitioning from lash services to skincare also came with its own learning curve. I had to rebuild parts of my brand, reintroduce myself to my clients, and earn their trust in a new area of expertise. But those experiences taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and staying true to my purpose — helping people feel confident in their skin.
Every setback pushed me to refine my vision and pour even more intention into Coco’s Haus of Esthetics. Looking back, I’m grateful for the challenges because they made the success even more meaningful.

At Coco’s Haus of Esthetics, I specialize in corrective skincare treatments that are customized to each client’s unique skin needs and goals. My work focuses on helping clients truly understand their skin — from what’s happening beneath the surface to how lifestyle, stress, and daily habits play a role. I’m known for creating personalized facial experiences that blend clinical-grade treatments with a relaxing, luxury touch, so clients leave not only glowing, but also more educated and confident about their skin.
What I’m most proud of is the relationships I’ve built along the way. Many of my clients have been with me since my early lash days, and seeing their confidence grow as their skin transforms is truly the best part of what I do.
What sets Coco’s Haus apart is the personal touch behind every treatment. I take time to listen, educate, and guide each client — so they leave not just with results, but with the knowledge and confidence to maintain them. For me, it’s about creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and genuinely cared for.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is helping people reconnect with themselves through their skin. I’ve learned over the years that skincare isn’t just about products or treatments — it’s deeply emotional. Our skin tells a story about how we live, how we feel, and how we care for ourselves. For many of my clients, that story starts with frustration or insecurity, and being able to guide them toward self-acceptance and confidence is something I never take for granted.
I care about creating an experience where people feel supported and genuinely cared for. It’s important to me that every client who walks through my doors feels like more than just an appointment — they feel understood. When someone starts to love their skin again, it often spills over into other parts of their life. That transformation is what fuels my passion every single day.
